Starter Unit 3 What color is it? 一、單元教材分析本單元主要圍繞“詢問顏色”這一主題展開各種教學(xué)活動(dòng),并以這一主題引出表顏色的單詞,問顏色的特殊疑問句及其回答等語言功能。同時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)了字母SsZz、復(fù)習(xí)鞏固所學(xué)的全部26個(gè)英語字母、總結(jié)歸納了元音字母a、e、i、o和u的發(fā)音規(guī)則。在整個(gè)單元學(xué)習(xí)中注意給學(xué)生創(chuàng)造一個(gè)輕松、快捷記單詞、愉快的學(xué)習(xí)、交流環(huán)境,通過聽、說、讀、寫來培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合運(yùn)用知識(shí)的能力。并讓學(xué)生能在“做中學(xué)”(learning by doing),通過有限的課堂實(shí)踐活動(dòng),注意觀察別人的行動(dòng),能準(zhǔn)確地用英語來表達(dá)。通過本單元教學(xué),使學(xué)生能運(yùn)用所學(xué)英語,正確地描述物體的顏色;同時(shí)熟練掌握所學(xué)的26個(gè)英語字母。 二、單元學(xué)情分析本單元緊緊圍繞“詢問顏色”這一話題,把字母、有關(guān)顏色的日常交際用語、詞匯有機(jī)地結(jié)合起來。話題貼近學(xué)生的實(shí)際生活,學(xué)生們能很容易地將自己的生活體驗(yàn)用英語輕松地表達(dá)出來。七年級(jí)的學(xué)生對(duì)英語很感興趣,學(xué)習(xí)熱情很高,有學(xué)習(xí)英語的愿望和興趣,樂于參與各種英語實(shí)踐活動(dòng),在教學(xué)過程中,教師應(yīng)以加以積極引導(dǎo),恰當(dāng)培養(yǎng),讓學(xué)生形成穩(wěn)定的英語學(xué)習(xí)興趣。學(xué)生們正處于成長發(fā)育階段,記憶力較好,理解和認(rèn)知水平還有待提高,因此在教學(xué)過程中應(yīng)以師生互動(dòng)為主,充分練習(xí),展示個(gè)性,讓學(xué)生們運(yùn)用所學(xué)的知識(shí)來解決問題,實(shí)現(xiàn)課堂的實(shí)效性。此外,應(yīng)注意學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)的過程中很容易把“What color”錯(cuò)寫成或錯(cuò)讀成 “Whats color”,因此在練習(xí)中要反復(fù)強(qiáng)調(diào)。三、單元教學(xué)建議采用自主學(xué)習(xí)、小組合作學(xué)習(xí)、Role playing、 pair work等方式開展聽、說、讀、寫的學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)。教師要盡量利用幻燈片、掛圖、實(shí)物等給學(xué)生創(chuàng)造較為真實(shí)的英語情景,教師可以制作或讓學(xué)生們制作各種顏色的卡片,整個(gè)教學(xué)過程應(yīng)當(dāng)自始至終在一種鮮明的色彩背景下進(jìn)行,旨在營造那種為學(xué)生所喜愛的歡快氣氛,教師應(yīng)當(dāng)在十種顏色上大做文章;在使用實(shí)物時(shí)要使顏色醒目;在組合圖畫時(shí),要盡量用大色塊;在使用投影時(shí)要使顏色突出來。 四、單元課時(shí)分配本單元可用2課時(shí)完成教學(xué)任務(wù):(1a-2e) 用1課時(shí) (3a-4d) 用1課時(shí) (1a-2e)一、教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1. 語言知識(shí)目標(biāo):1) 能掌握以下詞匯:字母Ss Zz, color, red, white, black, blue, green, yellow, purple, brown 2) 能掌握以下句型: Whats this? Read the colors on the left then read the letters. Write the letter for each color. red _yellow _green _blue _black _white _purple _brown _ Ss write the letter next to the colors. Then let some Ss read their letters to check the answers. . Listening1. Tell Ss to look at the picture in 1a. Some students are talking about the colors and letters. 2. OK. First look at the picture carefully in 2c. Then tell us how to write these English letters. 2. Ss read and find out the writing rules of the letters Ss Zz. S1:大字字母都是占上兩格。 S2: 字母s、t、u、v、w、x、z占中間的一格。 S3:字母y占下兩格。3. Ss try to copy the letters by themselves. T goes around the classroom to give any help.4. Let some Ss come to the Bb, and write down the letters on the Bb. Check with the whole class. Practice 1. Tell Ss to look at the picture in 2d. First, read the letters aloud. Then let some Ss read the letters to the class aloud. 2. Let Ss try to write down the missing letters. Check the answers with your partner. 3. Language points1. What color is it?是一個(gè)特殊疑問句,用來詢問物體的顏色。其答語既可以直接用表示顏色的詞,也可以用“Its/ Theyre + 表示顏色的詞”。 即:主語是單數(shù)時(shí),be 動(dòng)詞用is,回答一般用“Its + 顏色”來表示;被詢問的物品,即句子的主語是復(fù)數(shù)時(shí),be動(dòng)詞用are,回答一般用“Theyre + 顏色”來表示。 What color is the pen? 這支鋼筆是什么顏色? Its white/ White. (它是)白色的。 What color are the cups? 茶杯是什么顏色的? Theyre yellow/ Yellow. (它們是)黃色的。 【拓展】表示顏色的單詞還可以用來表示人的姓氏,但表示姓氏時(shí),第一個(gè)字母必須大寫。例如:Mr. Green 格林先生 Miss Green 格林小姐 Mrs. Brown 布朗夫人 Mr. White 懷特先生2. 字母 Ss Tt Uu Vv Ww Xx Yy Zz 的書寫。這是26個(gè)字母中的后8個(gè)字母。其中Uu為元音字母,其余均為輔音字母。 3. 字母的書寫規(guī)則1) 應(yīng)按照字母的筆順和字母在四線三格中的位置書寫。2) 每個(gè)字母都應(yīng)稍向右傾斜,約為5,斜度要一致。 3) 大寫字母都應(yīng)一樣高,占上面兩格,但不頂?shù)谝痪€。 4) 小寫字母 a, c, e, m, n, o, r, s, u, v, w, x, z 寫在中間的一格里,上下頂線但都 不出格。 5) 小寫字母 b, d, h, k, l 的上端頂?shù)谝痪€,占上面兩格。 6) 小寫字母i和j的點(diǎn),f和t的上端都在第一格中間,f和t的第二筆緊貼第二線。 7) 小寫字母f, g, j, p, q, y的下端都抵第四線。 Homework1. 練習(xí)用英語詢問你知道的事物的顏色。2. 背誦字母Ss到Zz。3a-4d 一、教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1. 語言知識(shí)目標(biāo):1) 能理解或掌握以下單詞:字母Ss Zz, color, red, white, black, blue, green, yellow, purple, brown, the, can, see, my2) 能掌握以下句型: Whats this /that?
