15:19ByWanyingZheng()Thissummer,IhaveachancetotaketheclassoflearningAmericaculturefrommovie.AfterwatchingthemoviesintheclassI,IdiscoveredthatheroesinAmericanmoviesareapparentlydifferentfromthatinChinesemovies.Thisisduetothedifferentdefinitionsofherointhetwocultures.Therefore,thisessayfocusesonthesimilaritiesanddifferencesbetweenChineseandAmericanheroesinmovies.Atthesametime,theessayalsodwellsonculturalbackgroundsofheroesinbothcountries.IntroductionEveryculturehasitsowndefinitionofhero,whichresultsindifferentcharacteristicsofheroinitsmovie.Meanwhile,movie,asashallowculture,willalsoreflectthedefinitionofheroofthatcountry,whichrelateswithitssocialidea,geography,andhistory.DifferentkindsofheroinChineseandAmericanmoviesprovethisexactly.WhiletheheroimagesofChinaandtheUShavesomesimilarities,theyalsohavegreatdifferencesbecauseofdifferentculturalbackgrounds.ThesimilaritiesbetweenChineseheroismandAmericanheroisminmovieInmypointofview,heroisthepersonpeopledreamtobe.Peoplefromallovertheworldhassomesamepursuance,thustherearesomesimilaritiesbetweenChineseandAmerican
