Econo mics and Commerce, Scie nces. Law, Medici ne and Nursing, and Huma nities and Arts- at a particular uni versity.Gen erally

3、, males are un der-represe nted in Huma nities and Arts, and Medici ne and Nursing while females are un der-represe nted in Engin eeri ng and Scien ces. The faculties of Econo mics and Commerce, and Law are comparatively represe nted.Humanities and Arts receives the least male enrolments at just 7%

4、of totalenrolments. Medicine and Nursing receives 7% of enrolments while Engineering and Scie nces are at the other end of the scale with 22% and 25% respectively. Female enrolments, in contrast, run the other way with Humanities and Arts enrolments comprising the largest percentage of total enrolme

Medicine and Nursing, though only recei ving 13% of enro lme nts, doubles that of males, while Engin eeri ng enrolments make up a tiny 4%, and Sciences receives less than half as many females as males.Thus from these two pie charts it is possible to con elude that males and females are n

8、ing feature of the graph is the rise in the set of n atural gas. Gas con sumpti on was steadily upwards, overtook coal towards the end of 1992 and fin ally outstrippi ng petroleum in 1995 to become, for a period, the most popular en ergy source.This rise was coin cided with a drop in the set of coal

9、 duri ng the period 1992 to 1995. At the beg inning of 1992, coal con sumpti on stood at 65 millio n tones or so. In the first quarter of 1992, there was a brief, steady climb and, from the n un til the beg inning of the third quarter in 1995, the trend was markedly down. The fall down, first, was q

10、uite steep. From the end of 1993, consumption was steady with two minor peaks at the end of 1993 and 1994, which were corresp on ded with two troughs in the use of nu clear and hydroelectricity. The n from the beg inning of 1995 coal con sumpti on resumed its fall.As it can be see n, petroleum was t

11、he main source of en ergy throughout the period with little or no cha nges in the con sumed amount. The use of non-fossil sources of en ergy,i. e. nu clear and hydro-electricity, over the period was in creased gradually with no dramatic rises or falls.Despite the variations, the overall amount of en
