1、外研社初三上冊MODULE 8 TEACHING PLANContent:Module 8 photos 一、 題材內容本模塊以攝影比賽為話題,介紹了托尼為參加攝影比賽的經歷和攝影比賽的結果公示。通過介紹和攝影相關的內容展示了定語從句的用法。攝影比賽不是每位學生都參加過,但是其話題卻為所熟悉的,所以有利于教學活動的設計與實施。通過本模塊的學習,學生可以圍繞這一話題進行大量的聽、說、讀、寫方面的語言實踐活動,可以增加學生的見識。讓學生在使用語言的過程中學習語言,促使學生更有意識地自覺學習英語。教學中教師應隨時隨地靈活利用各種素材組織教學過程和內容。充分調動學生的積極性。教學目標1) 語言知識:語

2、音能夠掌握句子中單詞的重讀。詞匯drum, bet, shot, kid, historic, square, category, manage, movement, feature, ceremony, comment, store 詞組by the way, even though, showaround 語法能掌握which, who引導的定語從句。功能能夠描述圖片信息,掌握介紹信息的技巧;能夠描述長、寬、高等度量。話題以“攝影比賽”為話題。2) 語言技能:聽能夠聽懂包含定語從句的句子;理解描述信息。說能夠運用定語從句描寫經歷、比賽等。讀能夠讀懂有關比賽的文章;提煉并利用比賽信息。寫能夠

3、用定語從句描寫攝影信息。演示與表達能夠利用照片介紹攝影作品。3)學習策略學習一定程度形成自主學習,有效交際、信息處理、英語思維能力。認知聯(lián)系,歸納,推測等技能。學習查詞典,閱讀報紙,提高自學能力。調控從同伴處得到反饋,對自己在敘述及作文中的錯誤進行修改。交際學習運用恰當詞語談論攝影比賽。資源通過閱讀報紙等其他資源獲取更多簡單英語的有關攝影比賽的信息。自學策略能夠根據(jù)自己的愛好檢索資料,組織語言介紹自己所喜歡的東西。合作學習策略能與他人介紹攝影作品。 4)文化意識: 文化意識可以通過攝影作品了解不同國家的風景,了解其不同的自然與文化。5)情感態(tài)度:通過攝影作品培養(yǎng)審美意識,培養(yǎng)對他人的欣賞態(tài)度。

4、6)任務:能夠利用相關資源制作攝影作品介紹。教學重點和難點 重點:1通過攝影比賽訓練學生的聽、說、讀、寫能力,掌握運用恰當詞語介紹攝影比賽。難點:運用恰當詞語介紹攝影比賽。教學方法基于課程改革的理念及“第二語言習得論”,培養(yǎng)實現(xiàn)人的可持續(xù)發(fā)展和人的主體精神的自我完善和發(fā)展所必需的能力和素質,運用任務型教學途徑,圍繞核心任務,設定小任務,開展和諧愉悅的課堂活動,強調興趣第一的原則,初步設計“PTP”自主學習立體模式:pre-tasktask-cyclepost-task。二、 教材處理核心任務:能夠運用所學句型結構談論攝影比賽。三個環(huán)節(jié)如下:pre-task:學生聯(lián)系生活實際,激活背景知識,。t

5、ask cycle:通過整個模塊的聽說讀寫的訓練,強化介紹攝影比賽的表達能力,為完成任務做好鋪墊post-task:達成任務,展示成果,反饋學習情況三、 教材安排根據(jù)學生學習英語的特點和規(guī)律,我們把本模塊劃分為4課時:Period 1: Listening and Vocabulary &Pronunciation and SpeakingPeriod 2: Reading and Vocabulary Period 3: Writing& Around the world &Module TaskPeriod 4: Language in use注:教學時應根據(jù)學生的

6、學習水平、生活實際水平、接受程度及課堂出現(xiàn)的臨時狀況進行運用、調整及篩選。教學設計Title: Module8 Public holidays Period 1: Listening and Vocabulary &Pronunciation and SpeakingTeaching Content: Listening and Vocabulary and Pronunciation and Speaking Teaching Aims and Demands:1. Listening skill: To understand the conversation involving the use of the restrictive attributive clause . (難點) 3. Speaking skill: To retell Tonys experience in preparing for the photo competition Learnin

8、g strategies:Bottom up approach and listening to the tape and do some exercises.Teaching Aids: Multi-Media (Tape recorder, video, OHP, handout)Teaching Procedures:Part I: Revision Task: Recall what we have learned in the last Module.Directions: Step one: Read through the words and expressions in the

9、 box and have the Ss. Repeat them after you. Step two: Ask them to label them in the pictures on the screen. Step three: List some words which are connected with Australia. Ask students to speak out as many as they can.Part II: Lead in: Task: Talk about some bands in the pictures.Directions:Step one

10、: Introduce new words. Have the Ss repeat them chorally and individually.Step two: Talk about the pictures. Ask the students to look at the pictures about some famous bands. Elicit what they can see. If there are any new words, add them to the list on the board.Step three: Match the words with the p

11、ictures.Step four: Let them check with a partner.Step five: Then ask them to recite the new words.Part III: ListeningTask 1: Listen and check the words in the box in Activity 1 as you hear themDirections:Step one: Ask the Ss to look at the pictures in activity 1 on page 64Step two: Play the recordin
