1、外研版英語九（上）Module 11模塊語法詳解與訓練模塊語法詳解which和who引導的定語從句1. which引導的定語從句如果先行詞是物，那么定語從句的引導詞可以用which。which在定語從句中可作主語或賓語。作賓語時，可以省略。多數(shù)情況下，which和that 可以互換。如：This is a book which/that interests me. 這是一本讓我感興趣的書。（作主語）The book (which/that) he bought yesterday is lost. 他昨天買的那本書丟了。(作賓語)2. who引導的定語從句如果先行詞指人，那么定語從句的引導詞可

2、以用who。who在定語從句中作主語或賓語，作賓語時也可以用賓格whom。如：The girl who is talking to the boy is my sister. 正在跟那個男孩談話的女孩是我的妹妹。（作主語）The man who is shaking hands with my father is a policeman. 正和我父親握手的那個人是警察。（作主語）Is that the actor who/whom you talked about last week? 那是上周你們談?wù)摰哪莻€演員嗎？ (作賓語)注意：如果引導詞緊接在介詞之后，只能用whom，不能用who。很多

3、情況下who可以用that替換。如：The person to whom you should write is Mr Smith. 你應(yīng)該給他寫信的人是史密斯先生。Is this the girl with whom you talked for a long time last night. 這就是你昨天晚上跟她談了很久的那個女孩嗎？Do you know Mr Zhang who/whom/that they like very much? 你認識他們非常喜歡的張先生嗎？3. 定語從句中引導詞的省略不管定語從句修飾的是人還是物，如果引導詞that, who/whom, which在從句中

4、作賓語，通?？梢允÷?，但是如果引導詞在從句中作主語時或緊緊跟在介詞后作賓語則不能省略。如：Is that the car (that/which) you bought last month? 那是你上個月買的車嗎？(作賓語，可省略)A friend is a person (that/who/whom) you know very well and like. 朋友是你十分了解并且喜歡的人。(作賓語，可省略)The train which/that has just left is for Shanghai. 剛剛開走的火車是開往上海的。(作主語，可省略)注意：引導詞作賓語時可以省略是因為省

5、略后的從句仍然有主語和謂語，仍然可以分辨出哪部分是定語從句。但是，引導詞在從句中作主語時就不能省略，否則會造成結(jié)構(gòu)混亂。以下兩句中的引導詞 who 和 that 在從句中作主語，不能省略。此外，需要注意的是，雖然在定語從句中作賓語的引導詞在口語中往往被省略，但在正式文體中則常常被保留。如：Id like to have a teacher who is good at speaking. 我想擁有一位擅長演講的老師。He can make lessons that are usually boring interesting. 他能把枯燥乏味的課講得生動有趣。4. 只用which而不用that

6、的情況：（1）先行詞由指示代詞that修飾時或先行詞本身就是that。如：I dont like that which he did. 我不喜歡他做的那件事。I want that book which is on your right. 我想要你右邊那本書。Whats that which flashed in the sky just now? 剛才天空中一閃而過的是什么東西？（2）引導詞（又叫關(guān)系代詞）前有介詞且指事物時。如：This is the book for which you ask. 這是你要的那本書。The classroom in which we study is br

7、ight. 我們學習的教室很明亮。The pen with which you are writing is Toms. 你正在用來寫字的那支筆是湯姆的。The house in which I used to live has become a clothes shop. 我過去住的房子現(xiàn)在變成了服裝店。（3）引導非限制性定語從句時，只能用which。如：His mother, who loves him very much, is strict with him. 他媽媽十分地愛他，對他要求很嚴格。This novel, which I have read three times, is
