Economic losses are estimated at over US$ 36 billion. The 2006 typhoon season is one of the most serious in recent years. Betw

5、een May and July, five consecutive typhoons and tropical storms have swept through China leaving a trail of devastation.The total estimated human loss of life caused by World War II, irrespective of political alignment, was roughly 62 million people.
