Such mysteries have fascinated me since my childhood, prompting me to avidly read scientific writings by Hua Lougeng, Chinas most celebrated mathematician in the modern era, even while I was still in primar

3、y school. Unable to fully understand Huas books as I must have been, I learned that mathematics was itself wrapped with mysteries. My intense interest, coupled with my hard work, in mathematics paid off. During my third year in senior middle school, I took part in the National Mathematics Contest fo

4、r students in secondary education, and succeeded in winning the tenth spot in a lineup of some two hundred thousand selected participants. It was at that time that I made up my mind to pursue a career in mathematics. In 1985, I entered into the East China Normal University to major in mathematics. T

5、he mandatory courses ware concentrated mainly in two areas: statistics and application technologies. There were also many elective courses. In addition to courses of statistics and mathematics, I spent a lot of time and energy learning such practical skills as computer programming and the applicatio

6、n of some new software systems in statistics. After graduation in 1990, I taught statistics for four years at another university until I decided that I had to satisfy my curiosity further and learn more. In 1994, I joined a graduate program at the Beijing Polytechnic University, where I concentrated

7、 my studies in the area of artificial intelligence. Never a bookworm, I presided over a sampling survey of the middle schools in Shanghai, and published my findings in the ECNU journal. The topic for my graduation paper, the problem of slow server, was actually culled from an article published in pu

8、rsuing more advanced studies in a technologically more advanced country such as the United States. These journals provided me the necessary quality and amount of reference materials t keep me informed of the cutting edge of the field. The new method that I used in my research and my smooth answers a

9、t my defense of the paper could all trace their origin back to the journals that I had read. On the basis of my strong defense, the supervising committee decided unanimously t grant me an unequivocal A for my graduation paper. During the period of my graduate studies, I learned more about the realiz

10、ation technology (not sure what you are trying to say) by using computer programming. In image processing, I used the multianalysis and category theory in statistics, and I helped to institute a recognition system for major fingerprint characteristics. I have been working as a lecturer at the Beijin

11、g Polytechnic University since I obtained my Masters degree. Besides teaching, I have been conducting market analysis as part of several research teams. I have basically two main reasons to wish for further studies abroad. First, the rapid development of the statistical science fascinates me, and I

12、would like to stand firmly on the cutting edge of the field by having myself grounded in more advanced theories. Second, the market research that I am now involved in is pushing me to master newer and better methodologies, I believe that graduate studies with your department is one of the best ways

13、for me to attain both purposes. I am convinced that the academic foundation I have laid in both theoretical frameworks and practical skills will help me make a competent student in my proposed studies. I am looking forward to the day when I shall return to China with a Doctors degree to make more co

14、ntribution to the development of the science of statistics in this country. Yours sincerely, 澳大利亞留學(xué)存款證明準備指南 一、澳洲留學(xué)存款證明的數(shù)額 一般來講,因為出具了資金證明,這部分錢就不可以動用,所以我建議去澳洲留學(xué)的學(xué)生,分兩筆資金來凍結(jié):(當然家里如果資金特別寬裕,有閑置的錢不用于其他投資,可以一筆就存夠)。 第一筆是準備申請學(xué)校的時候存入。這時候只要資金足夠支付你在澳洲學(xué)校一年的學(xué)費和生活費就可以了。你申請五所學(xué)校,那就開具至少五份證明(建議多開幾份),遵照要求隨同資料寄到學(xué)校。數(shù)額只要的

15、那所學(xué)校來存就可以了。澳洲中學(xué),基本上40萬人民幣屬于比較貴的學(xué)校。 第二筆是去簽證的之前存入。這時候,你已經(jīng)知道自己的學(xué)校收費多少了(遵照I-20)表上面,乘以自己所學(xué)習(xí)的年數(shù),就是你要存的數(shù)目了。比如你去讀澳洲9年級,一年費用是30萬。那么讀完12年級是4年,所以30_4=120萬。這個證明只需要開具一份。如果年數(shù)少,就可以少存點。需要的話只給簽證官看一下就可以了。 二、澳洲留學(xué)存款證明的數(shù)量 就像上條所解釋,第一筆的話,是學(xué)校所需要。所以要為每個學(xué)校準備一份。第二筆,如果無它用,只要一份就可以了。 三、澳洲留學(xué)存款證明的凍結(jié)期 給簽證官看的存款證明,凍結(jié)期長短沒有太大關(guān)系。因為當你簽證完

16、成,就可以拿著存款證明原件,身份證和定期存款存折(卡)到銀行解凍了。資金馬上可以用。 學(xué)校需要的那份存款證明的凍結(jié)期,要看你申請材料遞交的時間和預(yù)計收到錄取通知書的時間。一般情況下,建議存半年,凍結(jié)半年。這個證明,因為已經(jīng)寄到學(xué)校,所以這筆錢,要等到開具證明時寫的解凍期結(jié)束,才能動用。 四、澳洲留學(xué)存款證明的解凍期 分兩種解凍方法:自然解凍。比如存款時從1月1日開始凍結(jié),凍結(jié)期是3個月。那么到了4.1日,資金就自然可以用了。強制解凍:還用上面的月份來距離。你到了2月1日想要用錢,那必須同時把所有開具的存款證明原件,定期存證和身份證帶到給你開具存款證明的銀行,就可以解凍。 五、澳洲留學(xué)存款證明的

17、手續(xù)費 以前銀行是不收費的。現(xiàn)在都開始收費。有20-50不等。 你也可以用原來在銀行里的定期存款來轉(zhuǎn)成可以開存款證明的資金。澳洲學(xué)校沒有對家庭中資金的存期有要求。所以也可以現(xiàn)拿資金到銀行,就可以開具。 為什么選擇去澳大利亞留學(xué)呢? 一、門檻低易申請 澳洲的不像其他國家那樣的嚴格、難以申請,反而,澳洲的實行的是寬進嚴出的方法,當你申請的時候它并不會強制性的要求你提供GRE、GMAT、SAT等成績,如果你的IELTS成績不夠的話,有時候也會有其他的錄取機會。申請材料以及申請程序也十分的簡單。 二、教育 澳洲十分的注重教育,因此20多年以來,澳洲的一系列的體系以及流程都一直處于世界的低位,而這些也在一定的程度上面保障了學(xué)生能夠享受到的優(yōu)質(zhì)教育。不僅如此,澳洲頒發(fā)的學(xué)位也是受到全世界各國的認可的。澳洲的專業(yè)也十分的多,能夠讓學(xué)生有很多的選擇機會。 三、環(huán)境 從地圖上來看,四面都是海洋,氣候也十分的好,所以有許多的動物、植物以及自然景觀,所以澳洲是一個十分美麗的國家。澳洲也是一個犯罪率十分低的國家,在排行榜上位居前20,而且澳洲也針對留學(xué)生頒布了法律,在一定的程度上給了留學(xué)生以及家長很大的安全感。而澳洲與國內(nèi)僅僅只有兩個小時的時差,所以十分方便與家里人聯(lián)系。 四、打工 澳洲的政府以及學(xué)校是十分鼓勵學(xué)生利用課余生活去打工的,他們認為這是一個接觸社會、積累經(jīng)驗的
