1、PEROXIDATION SEPARATION AREASTARTUP FROM STANDBYPeroxidation Separation Area Startup From StandbyPurposeThe purpose of this procedure is to startup the Peroxidation Separation Area from a standby condition.ConditionsThe Peroxidation Separation Area is in the standby mode. The system is in total refl

2、ux in preparation to receive feed.GUIDELINE Line up 1st Isobutane Recycle Column feed from the reactor that is ready to feed forward. Close block valve to startup manifold from the TBHP Concentration Column bottoms to clear this line from tower. Slowly open reactor feed valve to begin peroxidate fee

3、d to the 1st IC4 column. Adjust steam flow as required to maintain boil-up on 1st IC4 column. Place the feed controller to 2nd IC4 Column to automatic with set point being reset by level controller. Place propylene refrigerant flow to 1st IC4 vent condenser 01E0111 on level control with set point be

4、ing reset by temperature controller.Peroxidation Separation Area Startup From StandbyPlace propylene refrigerant flow to 2nd IC4 vent condenser 01E0114 on level control with the set point being reset by the temperature controller.Set reflux flow to 1st IC4 Column controller FC-11406 at desired rate

5、and place in automatic control.Monitor temperature profile on 1st IC4 column to optimize isobutane in column overhead.Place propylene refrigerant flow to overhead condenser 01E0112 on level control.Place Propylene Return from 01E0112 in auto/cascade control.Establish feed forward flow to 2nd IC4 Rec

6、ycle Column.Peroxidation Separation Area Startup From StandbyPlace flow controller for TBA from TBA Removal Column to 2nd IC4 Recycle Column in cascade control from Hand Controller.Place flow and level controllers in automatic with proper set points for normal operating conditions.Set 2nd IC4 Column

7、 reflux flow controller at desired rate and place in automatic control.Monitor temperature profile on column to 2nd IC4 optimize TBHP/TBA in column bottoms.Establish feed forward flow to TBHP Concentration tower. Ensure vacuum package is operating before starting TBHP feed to column.Peroxidation Sep

8、aration Area Startup From StandbyLine up TBHP Concentration Column bottoms flow controller to TBHP Storage Tank 01T0204.Line up TBA Temperature Controller.Line up TBHP Concentration Column Vacuum Package kickback valve.Adjust set point of the vacuum package pressure controller to normal setting and

9、place in automatic control.Continue feeding column from 2nd IC4 Recycle Column through flow controller on TBA/TBHP feed to TBHP Concentration Column.Adjust steam flow to TBHP Concentration Column as required to maintain boil-up on column.Open bottoms control valve when the bottoms temperature is 88C

10、 or when TBHP concentration is 50%.Peroxidation Separation Area Startup From StandbyPlace TBHP Concentration Column Bottoms Pumps kick-back flow controller in auto/cascade control.Set TBHP Concentration Column reflux flow controller at desired rate and place in automatic control.Place TBHP Concentration Column overhead flow controller in auto/remote with set point being reset by level controller.Place analyzer control in auto/cascade to TBHP Concentration Column bottoms temperature cont
