Goodmorning,it'smyhonortostandhereandgiveyouthisspeechaboutdreams.ThereIwanttostartmyspeechwithtwoshortstories.

ThefirststoryhappenedwhenIwasinprimaryschool,IwroteinmycompositionthatmydreamwastobeateacherwhenIgrewup.Meanwhile,whatmyclassmateswroteabouttheirdreamswasthatheorshewantedtobeadoctor,ascientistoranastronaut.

Thesecondstoryhappenedatmyfirstyearinuniversity.Atthecareersplanningclass,whentheteacheraskedaboutourdreams,oneofmyclassmatesstoodupandsaid,“Iwanttobeafarmer,becauseIgrowupinafarmer'sfamilyandIlovetobeengagedinagriculture.”Whenhesatdown,everyoneclapped.

Thesetwostorieshappenedduringmygrowthprocess,fromwhichIgotmyunderstandingofdreams.WhenIwasachildIbelievedthatadreammustbeabigdream,butwhenIgrowupIfindthisbigdreamissofarawayfromme,Iknowlittleaboutit,andIhavedonenothingtoachieveit,soit'snotmydream.Myclassmate'sanswerletmeknowarealdreamisnotjustaboutbeingagreatman,ordoingagreatjob,it'saboutwhatyoureallywanttobe,andarewillingtotryeveryefforttopursueit.
