選課CECSdeadline:PleasedonotmailanyoftheaboveitemsoradditionalmaterialstoUCSD.Allmaterialsmustbecompletedexclusivelyonlineusingtheonlineapplicationsystem.SDECE也很強，由于高通的存在，SD在硬件方面就業(yè)可牛了。但是他家ECE很坑爹的是其他track不能轉(zhuǎn)到CEtrack里面。所以最簡單的曲線招數(shù)不能用了。因此我直接申了他家的CE。但從錄取結(jié)果來看，和我剛分析的一樣，因為本科有CE背景的人幾乎為0，所以感覺啥背景的都錄取CEECECSCSOK。SD最大不在SD城區(qū)，價格也不高，真的很好呀！唯一不太好的地方可能就是那個金坷垃該校最近一直在崛起，找了一堆CS大牛去他家。地理位置在風景秀麗四季如夏的SanDiego。優(yōu)點是地理位置好，風景好，有導師帶。缺點是綜合名氣不如UCLA，USC大， 課程質(zhì)量相當高，有自己寫個小操作系統(tǒng)什么的。但是自從Emma轉(zhuǎn)校Brown的CS今年一共招了大概12個Master，5個PhD。5個PhD背景都很強，12個Master中有幾個是海本，每個人都很有AlgorithmNetork，MachineLearning，Graphic，ProgrammingLanguage()之類的，作業(yè)都AmazonOracle實習的同學都拿到了ReturnFM家實習的，都是大神?，F(xiàn)在新生已經(jīng)開始準備找實習了，有人已150InternBST的插入，然后沒寫對。總之Brown的CS人少，環(huán)境好，每人都有，晚上可以叫車送回BrownCS的生大部分和本科生一起上（當然這些課里也會有博士生統(tǒng)一對待。享受與本科生一樣的授課質(zhì)量和學習難度。從授課這點上來說，Brown的Master有課程由教授親自出馬。Brown對本科教育的極其重視，導致了他們對教授上課水平的總體而言，CSECE好。工程比較牛ECECSYoumustenteryourscoresintotheonlineapplicationandmakethemavailabletoPurdueUniversitybytheapplicationdeadlinedatamining,graphics&visualization,Security非常好,看過某牛人的帖子說Security的實力大概屬于Top5.System也很好.兩個方向都有大牛.ML方向在CS和STAT各有一些老師(ML@Purdue:),Master有專門STAT/CS的xhtml).據(jù)觀察,MasterUIUC,UWM比較相似,不是用來狂招人撈錢的,雖然現(xiàn)在系里貌似挺缺錢的,PHDcase...看到有今年(12年)PHDDean的申請情況得到如下回復“Wereceivedover1100applicationsforonlyabout30slots.Unfortunaythismakesadmissionverycompetitive.”錄取率傳統(tǒng)的老牌工科院校。但最近貌似一直在MS75%擁有獎學金，現(xiàn)MSMSPhD貌似標準相同，讀了兩年后PhD，但不保證有錢。
