AdvancedListeningandSpeakinginBusinessEnglishcourseisaselectivelanguage

courseopentoalltheundergraduates.Conductedinmultimediaclassroomandtaught

inEnglish,itcombinesEnglishlanguageskilltrainingwithbusinessknowledgeof

variousfields.Thecoursecovers18unitsofbusiness-relatedtopicsandfocuseson

helpingstudentsimprovetheiroverallEnglishlisteningandspeakingproficiency.

Studentsshouldgothroughaseriesoftrainingproceduresonthefollowingaspects:

Listeningtobusinessnewsandnewsreports,specialcoverageandinterviews;doing

comprehensionexercisesinclassrelatedtotheirlisteningmaterials;gettingfamiliar

withtherelevantbusinessterminologyandlearningtoexpresstheirideasaccurately

andsmoothlywithbusinessterminologiesandfinallyparticipatinginclassactivities

(conversation,simulation,presentation,teamdiscussion,etc.).Theobjectivesofthe

courseare:1)Toupgradeandreinforcestudents9listeningandspeakingcompetence
