Unit3Period4Reading新課導入2016墨西哥鐵人三項運動員布朗利兄弟課堂學習Swimming1.5kmCycling40kmRunning10kmTheWorldTriathlonSeries鐵人三項運動(Triathlon)是體育運動項目之一,在夏威夷誕生,屬于新興綜合性運動競賽項目。比賽由天然水域游泳、公路自行車、公路長跑三項目按順序組成,運動員需要一鼓作氣賽完全程。2000年成為奧運會項目,2006年成為亞運會項目。游泳是三項賽的第一項,在悉尼奧運會上設置了一座浮橋,運動員們從浮橋上同時跳水出發(fā)。他們要沿著由浮標和繩索標志出的三角形路線前進,如果有人抄近道就會受到處罰。運動員可以用他們喜歡的任何姿勢游泳,但實際上所有的運動員都選擇自由泳。Swimming從水里上岸后,運動員要馬上轉(zhuǎn)入自行車的賽程。在自行車賽段中,整個賽程必須騎自行車完成。運動員必須佩帶頭盔,還要穿騎行服。自行車一定要按照規(guī)定規(guī)格制作,除非運動員的身材太高或者太矮可以例外。鐵人三項用自行車為最大減少選手風阻,將座位角度增加,重心前移,同時帶有休息把。至少要在賽前24小時要檢查車輛,以便留出時間讓運動員按照規(guī)則要求做出必要的修正。cycling長跑賽段最重要的規(guī)則就是運動員必須用自己的雙腳完成全部比賽。這一條聽起來顯而易見,但是在一些令人難忘的鐵人三項比賽中,尤其是最艱苦的夏威夷鐵人三項賽中,有一次美國選手朱麗·摩斯最后就是爬過終點線的。這種情況不能在奧運會上發(fā)生。running1Lookatthewordsandexpressionsandchoosetheonesthatcanbeappliedtoyourrelationshipwithyourfamilymembers.Nowlookatthetitleofthepassageandthepicture.Predictwhichofthewordsandexpressionsabovecanbeappliedtothebrothers’relationship.LearningtolearnFeaturesare"peoplestories",and
