livingwithAIDSIncreaseavailabilityofresources:Workrewardsincreasingtheavailabilityofresourcessuchasfood,shelter,transportation,andotherbasicneedsforpeoplelivingwithAIDSThiswillhelpaddresstheirpracticalchallengesandimprovetheiroverallwellbeingAdvocateforahealthylifestyleandvaluesPromotesafesexualpractices:Encourageindividualstoadaptsafesexualpracticessuchasusingconventions,limitingthenumberofsexualpartners,andgettingtestedregularlyforHIVProvideeducationontheimportanceofindividualhealthandthemethodsofpreventingthetransmissionofHIVSocietyandhamreduction:EnhanceindividualstoavoidalcoholanddrugabuseasthesesubstancescanreduceimmunefunctionandincreasetheriskofcontractingHIVPromotehardreductionstrategiessuchasneedexchangeprogramsforinvasivedrugusersStresstheimportanceofself-care:Encourageindividualstoprioritizeself-carebygettingequalsleep,eatingabalanceddie,exercisingregularly,andseekingmentalhealthsupportifneededAhealthylifestylecanimproveoverallhealthandwellbeing,makingindividualslessvulnerabletoHIVinfectionPromotepositivevalues:Advocateforpositivevaluessuchasrespect,empathy,honesty,andresponsibilityrewardsoneselfandothersThesevaluescanhelpshapebehaviorsthatreducetheriskofcontractingHIVandpromoteacultureofcareandcompassiontowardspeoplelivingwiththediseaseProgressandchallengesofglobalAIDSpreventionandcontrol04IncreasedawarenessGlobalawarenessofAIDShassignificantlyincreased,leadingtomoreopendiscussionsandlesssigmasurroundingtheissueExpandedaccesstotreatmentMorepeoplelivingwithHIVnowhaveaccesstolife-savingantiviraltherapyPreventivemeasuresSafersexpracticesandtheavailabilityofHIVtestinghavehelpedreducenewinfectionsinsomeregionsAchievementsandexperienceintheglobalfitagainstAIDS03LimitedresourcesFinancialresourcesforAIDSpreventionandtreatmentarestillineffectiveinmanycountries01NewinfectionsDespitprogress,thenumberofnewHIVinfectionsremainshigh,specificallyamongyoungpeopleandkeypopulations02StigmaanddiscriminationStigmaanddiscriminationrewardspeoplelivingwithHIVstillpersist,preventingaccesstoservicesandsupportCurrentchallengesinthefitagainstAIDSIncreasefunding:IncreaseglobalinvestmentinHIVprevention,treatment,andcaretoensureuniversalaccessforallwhoneeditImprovedatacollectionandmonitoring:BettertrackingofHIVtrendsandmoreeffectiveuseofdatatoinformprogrammingandpolicydecisionsPromoteevidencebasedpolicies:AdoptevidencebasedpoliciesandprogramsthathavebeenshowntobeeffectiveinreducingnewinfectionsandimprovingaccesstoservicesStrengtheningpartnerships:Fosterclosercooperationbetweengovernments,civilsociety,andtheprivatesectorintherightagainstAIDSStrengtheninginternationalcooperationandexchangetojointl
