Thestudent,however,answeredinadeterminedvoice,“Ipaidthemoney,soIdeservethereceipt.”

Whenyoureleavingthehotelwillyoulookintoamirrorandadjustyourclothesinfrontofit.Butifitwereablackmirrorwhatcouldweget?Withtechnologydevelopingatarocketspeed,theblackmirroriseverywhere,onthescreensofourcellphones,ourcomputersandourtelevisions.Inourdailylife,wearealwaysfacingblackmirrors.However,wecanhardlyseeourselvesinit.Perhapssometimeswecan,butonlyasacolourlessface.Technologyhasbroughtgreatconvenienceofcommunicationforinformationbutatthesametime,ithaswebbedourthought.

Severalyearsago,anarticlenamed“IsGooglemakingusstupid”gotquitepopularontheInternet.Atthattime,IthoughtitwasjustalarmismbutnowIfinditmuchworsebecausetechnologyisnotjustmakingusstupidbutalsoweakeningourindependentthought.Abouthalfyearago,Iwasinvitedtojudgeadebatecompetition.WhenIarrivedatthecompetitionroom,Inoticeditwasanoldandclassictopic,soIwase*pectingthoseplayerstogivemesomenewandspecialideas.Unfortunately,whenthegamecontinued,Ifoundalltheviewpointsande*amplestheyusedweretotallythesameasthepreviouscompetition.Theonlyfunduringthecompetitionwastopredictwhattheywouldsay.AsfarasIwasconcerned,theywerenotmakingadebatebutreplayingavideo.Obviously,theyjustspokefortheblackmirror.
