befrom表示''來自哪里〃、“從哪里來〃或“是哪里人〃。如：

如果不強(qiáng)調(diào)從哪里來，只是要說明身份，也可以說：

He'saBeijinger.他是北京人。

They'reEnglish.他們是英國(guó)人。

2.Where+is/are+主語+from?

英語中,通常用特殊疑問句“Where+is/are+主語+from?”來詢問某人,,來自

哪里是哪里人"淇答語通常用“主語+am/is/arefrom+地點(diǎn)「。如：

—WhereisSamfrom?薩姆從哪里來？

—HeisfromEngland.他來自英國(guó)。

拓展:befrom=comefrom,如：

Wheredoyoucomefrom?

=Whereareyoufrom?

3.What'syourname?

英語中，當(dāng)想知道對(duì)方叫什么名字時(shí),可用句型"What/syourname?"進(jìn)行詢

問，其答語一般用"Mynameis+姓名如：

—What'syourname?

你叫什么名字？

—Myname'sGaoJing.

我叫高晶

拓展:當(dāng)你想很有禮貌地問別人的名字時(shí)，你可以這樣問：

What/syourname,please?

4.Kmtwelveyearsold.我12歲。

...yearsold,表示“……歲"。有時(shí)候yearsold可以省略，只用數(shù)字來表達(dá)年齡

即可。如：Herdogisthree.她的小狗3歲。

拓展：對(duì)該句型提問可用“Howold...?”，它是英語中一個(gè)較重要的句型，主要

用來詢問某人的年齡，其答語通常用“主語+am/is/are+年齡如：

—Howoldareyou?你多大了？

—1amthirteen(yearsold).我十三歲。

5.Nicetomeetyou.很高興見到你！

這是兩位初次見面相識(shí)后的用語，意思是“見到你很高興?！ㄒ娒嫦嘧R(shí)可由

自我介紹，第三者介紹或者詢問相識(shí)。例如：

—Hello!I'mXiaoHua.

—Hello!I'mXiaoLi.

—Nicetomeetyou,XiaoLi.

—Nicetomeetyou,too,XiaoHua.

6.Whataboutyou?你呢？

英語中"Whatabout…?"是一句常用的客套話，它后面可接名詞、代詞或動(dòng)

名詞(v.-ing)形式，它的功能可不少呢！

(1)詢問或打聽消息。如：

I'dlikeacupoftea.Whataboutyou?

我想喝杯茶，你呢？

(2)向?qū)Ψ教岢鼋ㄗh或請(qǐng)求。如：

Whataboutplayingfootballnow?

現(xiàn)在踢足球怎么樣？

⑶寒暄時(shí)的問候語，有承上啟下的轉(zhuǎn)折作用，如：
