件:(1)主句和從句的主語一致,或從句主語為讓;(2)從句中的主要動詞是be的某種形式;則從句中的主語和be動詞可以

省略.

四.某些復(fù)合句的省略

1).獨(dú)立逐主格結(jié)構(gòu)中的分詞若為being或havingbeen時,通常省略,意義不受影響.

2).4o,not”常用來替代從句,形成一種別樣的省略結(jié)構(gòu),so用于替代肯定形式的從句,表示說話人贊同前述的事實(shí),

常和表示看法,意見的動詞(think,believe,expect,suppose,imagine,guess,say,hope,fear)連用.Not用于替代否定形式的

從句,表示說話人不贊同前述的事實(shí).(當(dāng)表示說話人不贊同前述事實(shí)時,也可以用借助上述動詞的否定形式和so連用,

但afraid,fear,hope等不能用此形式.)
