故事發(fā)生在一個濕冷的九月晚上，我原計劃從維也納乘飛機，然后再乘巴士前

往布拉格參加會議?？墒?，由于大風暴，飛機晚點了一小時半，使得我剩30

分鐘去趕最后一班前往布拉格的巴士。在機場，我急忙跳上了第一輛出租車，

遇到了司機Gunter。Gunter不熟悉巴士站的位置，但在通過電話求助朋友后，

他成功將主角及時送到了巴士站。然而，我發(fā)現(xiàn)自己沒有現(xiàn)金，而且銀行卡在

出租車上的刷卡機上無法使用。在Gunter的指引下，我跑到取款機處，卻發(fā)現(xiàn)

機器故障。無奈之下，我打算告訴Gunter這個事情。

1）多個形容詞描述凸顯環(huán)境：原文第一句ImetGunteronacold,wetand

1.touchdown指(飛機等)降落、著陸，給人一種觸摸地面的感覺，比起使用

arriveat更加生動。可替換詞組還有l(wèi)anddown。此外，在很多科技類文章里常使

用touchdown來表示航天器等登陸、著陸。

紀般，century可以用eternity(永恒)來替換。具有同樣效果的短語還有atasnaiFs

pace以蝸牛的步伐，形容動作等十分緩慢，說時間像蝸牛一樣慢：Timedragsat

asnail'space.

6.Withjusttwominutestospare剛好來得及，只剩下兩分鐘。spare此處作為動

詞使用，表示“抽出、騰出”，原文用來強調(diào)時間之少。以后表達“時間不多”，可

以考慮使用“with+時間+tospare^^

7.rollinto駛入，進入某個地方。其實作者可以使用driveino/enter之類，但是還

是選擇rollinto這短語，想必也是為了突出時間之急、情況之急。roll”滾動，翻

滾”，體現(xiàn)“匆匆忙忙”的感覺，十分形象。

8.makeit成功到達或完成某事。近義詞組：achieve,reach。makeit十分常見，閱

讀完形也喜歡出現(xiàn)。不想說succeed時，這是個不錯的替換表達。

9.flashanapologeticsmile快速露出歉意的微笑。｛flasha(n)+形+smile｝就可以表

10.playalong合作，順應情況。這個短語在這里用得很妙，有點幽默味道。作

11.Afeelingofhelplessnesswashedoverme一種無助之感席卷而上。這個句型可

以說見得不少了，其中afeelingof可替換為asenseof7awaveof?afloodof等，
