fitness-andpromotingitasa"tool,notatoy."Notonlythat,itsupportsanumberofplatforms:Apple'siOS,

Google'sAndroidandMicrosoft'sWindowsphone.

[G]Thatseemstobewhatconsumersaredemanding,afterall.Consumersarebecomingincreasinglybored

withwhatcompanieshavetooffer:Asurveyof28,000consumersin28countriesreleasedbyAccenturefound

buyanewsmartphonethisyear,only48percentsaidyes-asix-pointdropfrom2015.

"Whydoyouneedtoknowthat?"-dogsthestepsofmanynewventures.Only13percentofrespondentssaid

thattheywereinterestedinbuyingasmartwatchin2016,forexample-anincreaseofjustonepercentfromthe

previousyeardespiteayearofhigh-profilelaunches.Thatisbadnewsforanyfirmthatmayhopethat

smartwatchescanmakeupgroundformaturingsmartphoneandtabletmarkets.Andthesurveyfoundflat

demandforfitnessmonitors,smartthermostats('恒溫器)andconnectedhomecameras,aswell.
