ISO24479:2024ENBiotechnology—Cellularmorphologicalanalysis—Cellularmorphometryisamethodthatquantifiescellmorphologicalfeatures.Itinvolvesthemeasurementofcellsusingamicroscopeandimageanalysissoftwaretoevaluatevariousmorphologicalcharacteristics,suchassize,shape,orientation,andmembraneintegrity.Thisstandardprovidesgeneralrequirementsandconsiderationsforperformingcellmorphometry,including:

1.**Selectionofcelllineandsamplepreparation**-Itisessentialtoselectasuitablecelllineforthestudybasedonitsgeneticbackground,cultureconditions,andphenotypiccharacteristics.Thesamplesshouldbepreparedusingstandardizedmethodstoensurereproducibilityandaccuracyoftheresults.
