1、Enjoy your hobby董艷紅唐山市第四十九中學(xué)Enjoy your hobby 一 課程簡介:在新課程理念的引領(lǐng)下,我校開展了英語第二課堂。主要的目的是激發(fā)學(xué) 生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣,提高學(xué)生的聽說讀寫四項基本技能,使學(xué)生在學(xué)中玩, 在玩中學(xué),敢于講英語,敢于用英語。二 內(nèi)容分析: 本課的主要話題是“Hobby”。這一話題貼近學(xué)生生活,與學(xué)生 息息相關(guān)。通過“do a survey”hobby show Search for bosom friends等各種活動吸引學(xué)生參與到課堂中來,同時訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的 聽、說、讀、寫四項基本技能,并激發(fā)學(xué)生對英語的熱愛,對生活的熱愛。 三 學(xué)生分析:1我所在

2、的學(xué)校是一所城鎮(zhèn)中學(xué),部分學(xué)生不敢張嘴講英語,害 怕自己講錯,學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣不是很高,所以教師創(chuàng)設(shè)各種活動,鼓勵、激發(fā)學(xué)生,使他們愛上英語老師,愛上英語課堂。 2. 我所教的學(xué)生,他們思維敏捷,每個人都有自己的愛好,各個 “身懷絕技”。根據(jù)這一特點(diǎn),我把他們請上課堂,展示自己的 愛好。四 教學(xué)目標(biāo):1. 能夠介紹并展示自己的愛好,與他人交流。 2. 通過各種活動,使學(xué)生學(xué)會“自主學(xué)習(xí),互助學(xué)習(xí)”,并達(dá)到練習(xí)聽、說、讀、寫四項基本技能的目的。 3. 激發(fā)學(xué)生享受愛好,熱愛生活的情感。五 教學(xué)過程:學(xué)生活動教師活動故事會勵志臺脫口秀作業(yè)開始導(dǎo)入做調(diào)查愛好展示尋找知音結(jié)束思考回答問題做調(diào)查完成表格每

5、re and listen to the song . Then answer the teachers questions. 出示明星張靚穎的照片,同時播放她的歌曲。借此詢問學(xué)生她是誰?他的愛好是什么?引出本節(jié)課的主題。在一開始就要吸引住學(xué)生的注意力,激發(fā)學(xué)生的求知欲。II. Do a survey 1 The teacher will make the ss into four groups. 2 Ask the ss to do a survey. They can ask other students like this What is your hobby? Why do you l

7、ative of each group will give a report about the results.學(xué)生分組合作,并通過做調(diào)查了解其他同學(xué)的愛好是什么,為什喜歡。通過“做調(diào)查”這個活動達(dá)到生生互動。同時又是學(xué)生知識輸出的過程,學(xué)生的英語口語也得到了練習(xí)。III. Hobby show The teacher is going to say: Every student has own hobbies. Some of our classmates would like to show their hobbies, do you want to have a look? Play

8、a game: Every group only has one choice. Each number represents a student who will show his or her hobby, And each group can choose a number. 1 342 1)Wang Zhengliang and the other three students will show their dancing 江南style。 2)Lin Yue will show her hobby drawing 3) Zhang Xin will introduce his co

9、llection of stamps. 4) Chen Jie will show her clothes which are made by herself. (According to the four students hobbies, the teacher can ask some questions.)The other ss will watch their performances. And then answer some questions.通過課下觀察,發(fā)現(xiàn)了一些學(xué)生的愛好,所以設(shè)置了“hobby show”這一活動,讓這些學(xué)生在課上把他們的愛好展示出來,每一組只能選一個

10、數(shù)字,而每個數(shù)字代表著一個學(xué)生的愛好。這樣通過這一游戲,增強(qiáng)了課堂的趣味性。目的是增強(qiáng)學(xué)生的自信心,使之發(fā)現(xiàn)學(xué)英語的樂趣,樂于用英語展示自己IV. Search for bosom friends1. The teacher will set a situation : I have a pen friend, she is Jenny Smith who is a Canadian girl. She is 15 years old. She has a hobby. And she wants to find bosom friends who has the same hobby as

11、her. Now she is calling.2.After listening to the call, make the ss fill in the blanks. “A happy child has a_.” Thats what my mom always says. My hobby is to find books with_. Because it is _ for me to collect these books. _ it is very_ . I spend a lot of time in bookstores. You might say_. But thats

And Who has the same hobby as her? 2) Why does she like that? 3) Is it hard to collect books with green covers? 4) What do you think of her hobby? Is it strange? The

13、 ss are going to listen to the calling. And then fill in the blanks and answer the questions.創(chuàng)設(shè)情境,“尋找知音”通過Jenny 打電話介紹自己的愛好,設(shè)置一些聽力填空和問答題,目的是訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的聽力。V. Story telling1. The teacher can give some pictures of her daughters collection, then ask the ss to guess what her daughters hobby is. At last, show th

14、e ss the answer to the riddle: Her hobby is collecting anything pink.2. Do you think my daughters hobby is strange? I think it is strange. Different people have different hobbies, and there are many strange hobbies. Do you want to know? Then show an interesting story to the ss.After that make the ss

15、 do the exercises about this story. When they finish, they can communicate with other students. 1). Mr. Turner always went fishing because he likes fishing.(T/F) _ 2). Read the story and do the exercises on the paper.3. Discuss with other students.首先教師讓學(xué)生猜測自己女兒的愛好,使課堂布上一層神秘感,之后

17、告訴大家謎底,女兒喜歡收集所有粉色的東西,這個愛好很奇怪,還有很多其他人的愛好更有趣,引領(lǐng)學(xué)生進(jìn)入“故事會”。本環(huán)節(jié)設(shè)置這一活動的目的是訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的閱讀能力,題型靠近中考任務(wù)型閱讀?;顒又饕詫W(xué)生自主、合作為主,教師的責(zé)任以調(diào)控、評價、幫助等為主。最后教師可以講述一些做閱讀題的技巧,這樣使題目難入簡出,學(xué)生學(xué)起來會更加輕松。VI. Inspirational station1. Play a video about Yuan Long ping. Introduce some achievements about him.Yuan Long ping is an agriculture scie

18、ntist. His hobby is to study hybrid rice.He gets up very early and goes to bed very late every day. He buys a lot of books, and he will study as soon as he has time. When he comes across difficulties, he never gives up. Mr. Yuan won the State Preeminent Science and Technology Award of China in 2000,

19、 the Wolf Prize in agriculture and the World Food Prize in 2004. He is currently is Director General of the China National Hybrid Rice R&D Center. 2. Inspire the ss to learn from Yuan Long ping. What should we do for our hobbies? 3. Ask the students to discuss with other students and write down what

20、 they should do for their hobbies. 4. Show some writings of the ss.The students are going to watch the video. Then they will think over and discuss with other students what they should do for their hobbies. Then they need to write down the results on the paper.本環(huán)節(jié)設(shè)置的是“勵志臺”。通過觀看袁播放隆平事跡的錄像,啟發(fā)學(xué)生思考:為了自己的愛好,從現(xiàn)在起應(yīng)該怎么做。小組討論后寫下來。教師可以展示一些學(xué)生的作品。設(shè)置這一環(huán)節(jié)一是為了練習(xí)學(xué)生的寫作能力,二是激勵學(xué)生正確認(rèn)識自己的愛好,并付之于行動,從現(xiàn)在起努力學(xué)習(xí)。VII.
