人教修訂版高一英語(yǔ)上Unit 7 Cultural relics Warming up & listening教案 教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析:本單元的中心話題是“文化遺產(chǎn)”,內(nèi)容涉及“文化遺產(chǎn)介紹”、“文化遺產(chǎn)修復(fù)”和“文化遺產(chǎn)保護(hù)”等。語(yǔ)言技能和語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的設(shè)計(jì)都是圍繞這些話題的。“熱身活動(dòng)”部分通過(guò)三幅圖片引出“文化遺產(chǎn)”這個(gè)主題。這三幅圖分別是:埃及金字塔、中國(guó)萬(wàn)里長(zhǎng)城和英格蘭巨石群,讓學(xué)生通過(guò)談?wù)撨@三處世界文化遺產(chǎn),在知識(shí)上和語(yǔ)言上進(jìn)行“熱身”準(zhǔn)備。“聽力訓(xùn)練”部分描述了三個(gè)虛擬的文遺產(chǎn):冬宮,陽(yáng)光寺和廬山。這部分的訓(xùn)練的目的是幫助學(xué)生通過(guò)聽,獲取這三個(gè)文化遺產(chǎn)詳細(xì)信息,其中包括名稱、全景、文化意思以及保護(hù)情況;同時(shí)提高學(xué)生根據(jù)聲音符號(hào)直接在頭腦呈像的能力(遺產(chǎn)的全景),要求學(xué)生根據(jù)所聽到的信息補(bǔ)畫圖中所缺的部分。學(xué)生情況分析:學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)一般,其中聽說(shuō)技能較差,尤其是學(xué)生的口頭表達(dá)能力較差,同時(shí)不夠大膽。但在教師給出一定的情景或提示引導(dǎo)下,大部分學(xué)生可以說(shuō)出相應(yīng)的語(yǔ)言知識(shí)點(diǎn)和文化知識(shí)點(diǎn),雖然多用詞組表達(dá),還較少用完整的句子回答。文化遺產(chǎn)保護(hù)這個(gè)話題較時(shí)尚,學(xué)生較感興趣,且對(duì)金字塔和長(zhǎng)城的歷史有一定的了解。學(xué)生喜歡購(gòu)物,對(duì)廣州北京路有相當(dāng)?shù)牧私猓貏e是近一年來(lái)被多次報(bào)道過(guò)的“千年古道”。教師可以通過(guò)談?wù)摫本┞飞系墓诺纴?lái)引出本單元的中心內(nèi)容“文化遺產(chǎn)”。Teaching Aims(教學(xué)目標(biāo)):1. Knowledge Aims(知識(shí)目標(biāo)):Ss can master the following phrases and expressions:Cultural , cultural relic, pyramid, Egypt, Stonehenge, statue(學(xué)生能夠掌握以上詞的意思和用法。)2. Ability Aims(能力目標(biāo)):1) Through talking and listening, Ss can understand the listening material and improve their listening and speaking ability.2) Through discussion and talking, Ss can use English to express their opinions on social problems.(通過(guò)聽和說(shuō),學(xué)生能夠理解聽力材料的內(nèi)容,同時(shí)提高他們的聽、說(shuō)能力;通過(guò)討論和說(shuō)話,學(xué)生能夠用英語(yǔ)來(lái)表達(dá)他們對(duì)一些社會(huì)問(wèn)題的看法。)3. Emotional Aims(情感目標(biāo)): 1) Through talking about some cultural relics, Ss can truly appreciate the significance of them and at the same time, realize the importance of protecting cultural relics.2) Ss can be aware of the great value of the cultural relics in China, and have a deeper love for their mother country.(通過(guò)談?wù)撌澜缥幕z產(chǎn), 讓學(xué)生能真正欣賞人類文化遺產(chǎn)的輝煌,同時(shí)能認(rèn)識(shí)到保護(hù)人類文化遺產(chǎn)的重要性;學(xué)生能夠意識(shí)到中國(guó)文化遺產(chǎn)的重大價(jià)值,從而促進(jìn)學(xué)生的愛(ài)國(guó)之情。)Teaching Important Points(教學(xué)重點(diǎn)):1. How to improve Ss listening ability.2. Talk about ways to protect cultural relics.(提高學(xué)生的聽力能力和談?wù)摫Wo(hù)文化遺產(chǎn)的方法。)Teaching Difficult Points(教學(xué)難點(diǎn)):1. Improve Ss speaking ability by talking some cultural relics2. Improve Ss listening comprehension and getting certain information by listening to some materials.(通過(guò)談?wù)撘恍┪幕z產(chǎn)來(lái)提高學(xué)生的口頭表達(dá)能力;通過(guò)做聽力練習(xí),提高學(xué)生的聽力綜合理解能力和獲取關(guān)鍵信息的能力。)Teaching Methods(教學(xué)方法): Audio-lingual(聽說(shuō)法)1. Listening method to improve the Ss listening ability.2. Talking method to enable the Ss to express themselves freely.Teaching Aids(教學(xué)工具):tapes, tape-recorder, computer, pictures, projectorTeaching Procedures(教學(xué)過(guò)程):Step I. Leading in(導(dǎo)入)Activity(學(xué)生活動(dòng)): Have a free talk with Ss about Beijing Road in Guangzhou.Questions: 1. Which places in GZ you would like to introduce to a stranger?2. What can we see and buy in Beijing Road?3. What do you know about the ancient road in Beijing Road?4. Have you ever seen it?Purpose(活動(dòng)目的): 1. To arouse Ss interest and build up a good feeling between T & Ss .2. To talk about the ancient road in Beijing Road and let Ss know that is a cultural relic.3. To get ready for the Warmingup part.(引起學(xué)生的興趣,建立一種良好的師生關(guān)系,同時(shí)引出課題中心“文化遺產(chǎn)”。)Step II. Warmingup(熱身活動(dòng))Activity(學(xué)生活動(dòng)): Pictures discussion on the screen.1. Show Ss three pictures (The Pyramids in Egypt, The Great Wall, the Stonehenge) and ask Ss to tell what they know about them.2. If you have a chance to travel, which one would you like to visit most ? Why?3. Questions:1) Do you think it necessary to spend so much money to protect cultural relics?2) Why is it important to protect them?3) What do you think we can do to protect our cultural relics?4) Which places in Guangzhou do you think can be cultural relics in future?Purpose(活動(dòng)目的):1. To practise Ss speaking ability.2. To get ready for the knowledge and language.3. To make Ss appreciate the significance of them and realize the importance of protecting cultural relics(通過(guò)談?wù)撐幕z產(chǎn),讓學(xué)生能真正欣賞人類文化遺產(chǎn)的輝煌,同時(shí)能認(rèn)識(shí)到保護(hù)人類文化遺產(chǎn)的重要性。)Step III. Listening (聽力訓(xùn)練)Activity(學(xué)生活動(dòng)): 1. Listen to the description of the three cultural sites. Complete the map on P43.2. Listen to the tape three times if necessary. The Check the information with the Ss.1) Listen for the first time, let Ss get the three names of the site.2) Listen for the second time, let Ss find out why it is important.3) Listen for the last time, let Ss find out what is being done to protect it.*( Ss will find it easy to finish the first task , but quite difficult to finish the following two tasks. T will ask Ss to listen to the sentences part by part and try to guide Ss to the key sentences, then let Ss do pair work to see if they can find the key words, finally T check the answers and show the key words on the screen)(注意:學(xué)生在這部分將會(huì)容易獲取三個(gè)文化遺產(chǎn)的名稱,但感到較困難地獲取其文化意思和保護(hù)情況的信息。這也是這一課的難點(diǎn)。教師先讓學(xué)生聽一遍全文并說(shuō)出三個(gè)名字;然后讓學(xué)生一個(gè)一個(gè)文化遺產(chǎn)來(lái)聽,并找出關(guān)鍵詞或句,如果學(xué)生仍沒(méi)能獲取信息,將重新一句句地聽,同時(shí)教師指引學(xué)生聽關(guān)鍵句;最后教師把關(guān)鍵詞句投映出來(lái)。)(形成性評(píng)價(jià))Name of the siteWhy is it important?Whats being done to protect it?1The winter PalaceIt tells us about how people lived in the past.Visitors are not allowed to go inside;They can look at pictures in a small museum.2The Sunshine TemplePart of our history; Many important things happened here; Many poems have been written Build a wall between the lake and the temple;Move things to a museum.3Mt Lu ShanPart of Chinas history;Many important people have been there.Try to limit the number of cars on the mountain;Try to use more buses.3. Near the village, there is a very old temple. Some businessmen want to build new houses where the temple stands. Some villagers agree with the businessmen while others dont agree. Today, we invite a famous host and some experts to have a discussion together. (T devide the class into groups of four, asking each S to act as the role of an Expert, or a Businessman or Villager A or Villager B. Ss make a debate about whether they should protect the temple or build houses, according to the key words the T give.) By listening to it, weve realized it is quite important to protect them. We should do our best to protect them. .Step VI. Homework Task: (任務(wù))As is known to us all, China is a country with a history of more than 5,000 years. In the long history, people in different periods have left us quite a number of cultural sites, many of which are world-famous.Prepare a brief description of Ss favorite cultural site in China. The report must include the following:1)The name of the site 2)Its size as well as its history 3) Its importance and what is being done to protect it.
