B: I think I will be an astronaut.2.A: Where will you live? B: I will live on a space station.3.A:How will you go to work?B: I will fly rockets to the moon.Ability goals:Be able to use the simple past tense,the simple present tense,the simple future tense and talk about jobs,transportation,and places to live.Emotion goals:Be able to predict the future life according to the past and present, and have big dreams and fight for them. Teaching difficulties: To revise the simple past tense,the simple present tenseTo learn the simple future tenseTeaching strategies: Listening, speakingTeaching steps Step 1:Warming up 1. PresentationShow three pictures of myself to lead in the sentences of the simple past tense, the simple present tense, and the simple future tense.Eg. I was a student 10 years ago. past I lived in countryside. I went to school on foot. I am a teacher now. now I live in a small house. I go to work by bus. I will be a writer in the future. future I will live in a big house. I will go to work by car.2. Guessing game Show several pictures on PPT to lead in “jobs , transportation and places to live”.Questions like these “What will he /she be like in the future?” “Where will he/she live?”“How will he/she go to work?”3. PredictionsShow some other pictures, and ask the same questions, meanwhile ,teach the new words.Step 2 PracticeAfter that ,ask students to write each word in the correct column below in 1a.Then ask students to say some other words about “jobs , transportation and places to live”.Step 3: Listening for the general ideaStep 4: Listening for the specific ideas1. Listen and number the pictures(1-3)2. Listen again. Fill in the blanks with the correct verbs from the box.3.
