充分利用英文歌曲,提高聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫能力 何健萍南海藝術(shù)高級(jí)中學(xué)摘要: 本文通過(guò)一堂英文歌曲的教學(xué)課,展示了如何通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)英文歌曲提高聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫能力,以及激發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)興趣,培養(yǎng)正確的人生觀和價(jià)值觀。關(guān)鍵詞:英文歌曲 提高能力 聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫English songs to improve the four skills He Jianping(Nanhai high school of arts)Abstract: This thesis uses a lesson of teaching an English song to demonstrate how to exploit English songs to improve the four skills in learning English and to spark the interest of learning and form correct ideas of life and value.Key words: English songs improve ability listening speaking reading and writing歌曲在語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)中起著非常重要的作用。通過(guò)歌曲的學(xué)習(xí)能夠強(qiáng)化語(yǔ)音知識(shí)、提高聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力、同時(shí)還能激發(fā)興趣,給課堂注入活力和生機(jī)。優(yōu)秀的歌曲還能給人以美的熏陶,陶冶情操,樹(shù)立正確的人生觀和價(jià)值觀。如何在聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫方面充分利用英文歌曲呢?在多年的英文教學(xué)中,筆者總結(jié)了幾種英文歌曲教學(xué)的方法和及一些好的英文歌曲,深受學(xué)生喜歡。下面就以課堂教過(guò)的歌曲carry on till tomorrow作為范例談?wù)劇R弧?利用英文歌曲進(jìn)行聽(tīng)力練習(xí)。在聽(tīng)力可以先引入:when you were a little kid, how did you feel when you saw the sun? when you see the sun now, how do you feel? And imagine when you were old, how would you feel when you saw the sun? Do you have dreams? What are you going to do to make them come true? 引入歌曲之后有兩個(gè)步驟: 先把整首歌作為聽(tīng)寫材料讓學(xué)生聽(tīng)寫,每句稍微停頓,共播放三次。然后給出歌詞,其中有些單詞是空缺的,讓學(xué)生邊聽(tīng)邊填寫空缺的歌詞。空缺的歌詞可以是重要的單詞或新單詞。如以下畫線的單詞即為空缺的單詞。In younger days, I told myself my life would be my own And Id leave the place where sunshine never shone For my lifes too short for waiting when I see the rising sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on till tomorrow, theres no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on Drifting on the wings of freedom, leave this stormy day And well ride to tomorrows golden fields For my lifes too short for waiting when I see the rising sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on till tomorrow, theres no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on And when the heavy journeys done, Ill rest my weary head For the world and its colors will be mine For my lifes too short for waiting when I see the setting sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on till tomorrow, theres no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on 二、 學(xué)唱英文歌曲,提高口語(yǔ)能力進(jìn)行了聽(tīng)力練習(xí)之后,便可以進(jìn)行口語(yǔ)方面的練習(xí)。這里也有兩個(gè)步驟:1 學(xué)唱英文歌曲??勺寣W(xué)生跟著錄音帶一起唱或分段學(xué)唱。這對(duì)于糾正語(yǔ)音又很大的幫助。教師還可在這過(guò)程指出唱英文歌的技巧,如單詞復(fù)數(shù)fields 等的處理。2 討論歌曲的內(nèi)容。學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)唱之后,對(duì)歌詞會(huì)有了大概的了解,這時(shí)便可以讓他們對(duì)歌曲的內(nèi)容進(jìn)行疏通??砂褜W(xué)生分成四人一組,讓學(xué)生用自己的話把歌詞說(shuō)一遍。如歌詞的第一段:學(xué)生:When I was young, I knew my life was my own life. I was the master of my life. I could live the kind of life I wanted. So l left the place where there was no sunshine, very dark that I could not see any hope. I wanted to seek a new life. For I knew life was very short. I could not wait any more. I needed to work hard. Whenever I saw the rising sun, I saw hope. And then I know I need to carry on and never give up.在討論過(guò)程中,學(xué)生也許會(huì)有不同的觀點(diǎn),也許會(huì)爭(zhēng)論,這對(duì)于提高學(xué)生的表達(dá)能力有很大的幫助。三、 閱讀理解。這個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)是對(duì)歌曲的內(nèi)容進(jìn)行深入的學(xué)習(xí)。教師可根據(jù)歌曲提出問(wèn)題讓學(xué)生思考并回答。如:1 What is this song mainly about?2 The song has three parts, what does each part tell?3 How did he/she feel when seeing the sun rise?4 How did he/she feel when seeing the sun set?5 What three stages of life the three parts represent?或設(shè)計(jì)成閱讀理解練習(xí)的題型,如:1. What is this song mainly about?A. A boy B. Love C. Life D. Perseverance (參考答案:D)2. What does the first part of the song tell?A. Someone who has never seen sunshine.B. Someone who is very young.C. Someones awareness of his/her own life and wanted to seek new life.D. Life is very short, and we cant wait for someone.(參考答案:C)3. How did he/she feel when seeing the sun rise? A. encouraged B sad C crazy D happy (參考答案:A)4 How did he/she feel when seeing the sun set?A. sad B successful C annoyed D overjoyed ( 參考答案: B) 5 What are the three stages of life the song implies?A childhood, teenage and adultB baby time, adolescent and middle ageC teenage, middle age and old age.D teenage, adolescent, adult.( 參考答案:C ) 四、 總結(jié)與寫作練習(xí)。經(jīng)過(guò)以上環(huán)節(jié)的練習(xí),學(xué)生對(duì)歌曲都有了較深理解,也會(huì)有很多的想法和感受,那么,不妨趁熱打鐵,用文字把它寫下來(lái),同時(shí)對(duì)寫作也是很好的訓(xùn)練。教師總結(jié):Life is yours. You are living your own life. Nobody can take control of your life except yourself. What are you going to do with your life? Work hard! Always carry on,so that one day when you see the setting sun, you wont regret for not doing anything in your entire life. 然后教師可布置題目如 Carry on till tomorrow , when I see the rising sun, c
