Status and function .本模塊的話(huà)題是廣播,介紹了電臺(tái)、廣播節(jié)目和播音員的工作內(nèi)容等。聽(tīng)廣播是很多學(xué)生日常生活的一部分,也是學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)和娛樂(lè)的一種方式。第一單元從聽(tīng)英語(yǔ)廣播入手,將學(xué)生引入到真實(shí)的情境中,激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。對(duì)話(huà)描述了陳歡帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生參觀北京電臺(tái)的情景,玲玲也表達(dá)了希望成為一名播音員的愿望。本單元是一節(jié)聽(tīng)說(shuō)課,為學(xué)生下一單元的學(xué)習(xí)奠定了基礎(chǔ),同時(shí)也起著重要的作用。 Part two:Analyzing the StudentsThe students have learned the topic of computer in Module10 in Students Book 2. They have known some words and some simple sentences about how to use the computer. So they have something to say about technology. Its helpful for the students to learn and use the content of this unit.Part three:Important points of teaching and difficult points of teachingKey vocabulary: director, show, around, show sb around, on air, avoid, national, international, interview.Remember what I said: we need to keep quiet if the red light is on.I think you need to speak English really well.Part four:Teaching Aims1.The aims of knowledge1)Enable the Ss to remember the following new words & phrases 2) Enable the Ss to understand and use the structure 3) Help the Ss to engage the grammar 2.The aims of emotionMake the Ss know more about the new technology and encourage them to love life.Part five:Teaching methodstask-based teachingpost-task:The students finish the task and show their achievement.Part six: Studying methods1. Teach Ss how to be successful language learners2. Teach Ss how to develop the listening and speaking skills;how to communicate with others; how to learn new words; how to learn independently;3. Get the Ss to form good learning habits.Part seven: Teaching procedure Step1Lead-inLead in by asking the Ss two questions:1. Do you like listening to the radio programmes?2. What kind of programmes do you like?Show the learning aims.The Ss answer:1. Yes,I do./No,I dont.2. I like.Communicate with the teacher. Step2PreviewresearchCheck the learning plans.The students work in pairs and check the learning plans each other.Step3Basic research1. Ask the students to read the types of news.2. Ask the students to work with a partner ,write two words for each type. The teacher write them on the blackboard.3. T: Please listen to the tape and choose the types of news. Check the answers in Activity1.4. Ask the students to try individually to complete the sentences in Activity2. Play the tape again, then check their answers. 5. T: Do you want to know where Lingling and Tony are? Lets watch a flash in Activity3 and answer the following questions:1) Where are Lingling and Tony?2) What are they doing?3) Who is Chen Huan?4) What is the news while they are at the radio station?6. Let the students read the conversation in groups of four and find out the important knowledge points.7. Tell the students to complete the notes with information from the conversation.1. Read the words:culture, government,sports, weather.2. Write the words foreach type.3.The students listen, then check the answers: government, sports.4.Listen and correct their answer:1) the (news) from China and around the world.2)three days.3) China, England.5.Watch and check the answers: 1)They are at Radio Beijing.2)They are visiting the radio station.3)She/He is the news director at Radio Beijing.4)Germany has won the football match,2-1 against England.6.Read the conversation and write the important knowledge points on the blackboard.7. Fill in the blanks in activity3. Then check the answers.1)were on air2)the lastest national and international news.3)speak English really well.4)do interviews.Step4Development innovationLet the students make up some sentences using the important points.Have a competition and have a look at which group says best.Step5Compliance testAsk the students to finish the questions on the screen.Do the learning plan.Step6Sum up1.
