Human Resource Management is the management of an organizations “human capital” or “intellectual assets”.What Is Human Resources Management? The Human Resource Management (HRM) process is an ongoing procedure that tries to keep the right people in the right positions. It includes human resource planning, recruitment, selection, socialization, training and development, performance appraisal, promotions, transfers, demotions, separations, and compensation.人力資源一般指有能力并愿意為社會工作的經(jīng)濟(jì)活動人口。人力資源管理是管理學(xué)的一個嶄新的和重要的領(lǐng)域。它是指組織對員工的有效管理和使用的思想行為,主要包括人力資源規(guī)劃、招聘、選拔、定位、培訓(xùn)和培養(yǎng)、業(yè)績評價、提拔、調(diào)動、降級、解雇以及酬勞等活動。Human Resource Planning 人力資源規(guī)劃 Human Resource Planning involves the analysis of matching the number of appropriately qualified staff to allocated positions and the consideration of staffing levels to meet projected demand. Two factors: 1. Organizations Human Resource needs 2. Future economic environment Human Resource Planning 人力資源規(guī)劃Human resource planning has four basic aspects:1. Planning future needs by deciding now how many people with what skills the organization will need;2. Planning for future balance by comparing the number of needed employees with the number of present employees who can be expected to stay with the organization;3. Planning for recruiting or laying off employees;4. Planning for the development of employees to ensure the organization has a steady supply of experienced and capable personnel.Recruitment 招聘 Recruitment is the process of finding and attracting qualified applicants for vacancies within an organization. 招聘就是通過各種信息途徑尋找和確定工作候選人,以充足的質(zhì)量和數(shù)量來滿足企業(yè)或組織的人力資源需求的過程。Recruitment 招聘 Job analysis defines a job in terms of its specific tasks and responsibilities including the qualifications and skills needed to perform within the role successfully. A job description lists the objectives, responsibilities, main tasks of the job, the conditions under which the job is to be done, and its relationship to other jobs. The hiring specification defines the specific skills, education, experience, and qualification that an individual must have in order to perform effectively in the position.To fill the positions: Hiring from Outside1. Incentive Programs: e.g. salespeople with a low base salary (底薪) Fringe Benefits: e.g. health insurance, pension(退休金)plans, paid vacations.How to Keep Employees Motivated 如何激發(fā)員工工作熱情 In business context, motivation refers to the stimulus that directs the behavior of workers toward the company goals. Managers must be aware of workers needs. Fundamental needs These needs include a good salary, safe working conditions and job security. Personal needs e.g. the desire for responsibility, recognition, growth, promotion, and interesting work. Job enrichment (豐富工作內(nèi)容) It gives workers more authority in making decisions Job enlargement(擴(kuò)大工作面) rotate(輪換) positionsDefine the following terms and then translate
