2、owing at the local cinemas是現(xiàn)在分詞短語,在句中作定語,分詞短語作定語必須置于被修飾詞之后,相當(dāng)于一個定語從句。here is some information about the films showing at the local cinemas。information的意思是“資料、信息、情報”為不可數(shù)名詞,沒有復(fù)數(shù)形式,前面不能加a,但是可以用a piece of information來表達一條信息。題二:翻譯:1.坐在我和tom中間的那個年輕人是我們的英語老師。2.我有兩條消息要告訴你。i dont like horror films. theyre te

5、.that和such。.that引導(dǎo)的結(jié)果狀語從句。結(jié)果狀語從句用來說明主句動作所帶來的結(jié)果.so。.that和such.that的區(qū)別.so是副詞,修飾形容詞和副詞。so。.that的意思是“如此以至于”。such是限定詞,所以只能修飾名詞或名詞詞組。固定句型是such + a (n) (+adj.)+單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞+that從句.such (+adj.) +復(fù)數(shù)可數(shù)名詞+that從句。such (+adj.) +不可數(shù)名詞+that從句。題五:翻譯:1.這塊石頭太重了,我舉不起來.2。peter是一個很好的男人,我想嫁給他。3.他跑得那么快,我趕不上他。4.peter是一個好老師,所以我們都
6、很喜歡他.5。這些書非常有趣,我想再讀一遍。6.天氣太壞,以至于我不得不待在家里。so that引導(dǎo)的目的狀語從句。目的狀語從句用于說明主句動作發(fā)生的目的。so that的意思是“以便、為了”,可以與in order that相替換。引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句時,表示“以便、為了,從句中常使用can /could /may /might /will /would /should等情態(tài)動詞或助動詞.題六:翻譯:1.你說大點聲,讓我聽見。2。我努力學(xué)習(xí),為了能上一個好的高中。3.kim節(jié)約每一分錢就是為了在母親節(jié)給他媽媽買個禮物.題七:能力提升與拓展idioms are phrases and senten
