The grotto was excavated by depending on the mountain and stretches for 1000m from east to west. Now remain 45 grottoes and in the whole grotto group are more than 1100 big and s

6、mall statues of Buddha, 252 big and small cavity niches and more than 51000 stone carved statues. 11、tegory of the Buddhism popular in north China. The Huayan Temple is divided into two parts: the Upper Huayan Temple and Lower Huayan Temple which have their own gate and architecture respectively.
