My presentation consists of five parts: analysis of the teaching material, analysis of the students,teaching methods, guide of studying ways and teaching procedures.I) Analysis of the teaching materiali)Status and functionThe topic of this unit is about personal abilities and clubs. The first p

3、eriod serves as an introduction and a lead-in part. They will l earn to talk about what they can do and what club thy what to join. T he materials in talking are mostly from the real life and are familia r to students, so they are very interested in it. A series of questi ons and a big picture are u

4、sed to attracts students attention. Andlistening and pairwork are also used in this period.II) Teaching aims and demands1 .?Knowledge ObjectsSs have already mastered the new words and phrases, so in this lesson, they should use the verbs of activity such as sing, dance, swim . and verb phrases expre

5、ssing abilities.2 .?Ability ObjectsIn this lesson, I ll mainly train the Ss listening and speaking abil ities and develop the Ss abilities of communication by learning the useful structures.3 . Moral ObjectsFrom this lesson, Let students experience the fun of learning English through practice, and h

6、ave the courage to show their talents,.Talk a bout each other's specialties and hobbies through group activities . Guide students to communicate with others, learn from each other and help each other, then develop team spirit.keys and difficultiesAccording to the teaching aims, I think the focus

7、 of this lesson isn' t to teach the new expressions but to help the Ss to communicate wi th each other. The difficulty is to help the Ss make conversations f reely using the target language.5 Teaching aidsA tape recorder.of the studentsThe Ss have learned English for nearly a year, they can expr

8、ess their thought and communicate with each other with simple English well. An d all the Ss will be interested in the topic, which is related to the ir real life. It s helpful for our study of this lesson.methodsIn this lesson, I ll mainly use the cooperating teaching method, and it will be used in

9、the whole lesson. I think it s helpful t o developthe Ss thought. I ll also use“ situation communicating” method.It can provide enough listening and speaking situations for Ss. I thi nk good teaching methods are the keys to success.IV Guide of studying waysIn order to guide the Ss better,develop the

10、 Ss abilities, in thislesson, the Sswill learn how to be a good language learner, and how t o communicate with others. It will be very helpful for their learningin the future. I think good studying ways can help the Ss to be g ood language learners.V Teaching proceduresStep1. Free talkFirst, t alk a

11、bout the word “ play ” with students and ask them what they like to do .Purpose of my designing: I think it is important to have a free talk with students, it can help them get relax before class.Step 2 Presentation1. Talk about the clubs in their school. What clubs do you have in your school? We ha

12、ve a/anclub.The teacher writes down the names of the clubs on the board.2. The teacher talk about the clubs students want to join and what they can do with two or three students to give an example.The teacher writes down the things the students can do. Purpose of my designing: This activity introduces some new vocabularyand provide oral practice using the target language. I thinkit is mucheasier for the Ss to learn if I present the

14、key structures one by one and they can master the structures quickly by doing this.Step 3 Pairwork1. Ask the students to talk about the clubs they want to join and the things they can do in pairs. 17、nutes reading the conversations and sentences to get ready for the listening.2. Play the recorder.3. Ask the students to exchange their answers in groups, and make thedifferent answers.
