1、高二外研新標準 選修6 第一模塊語言要點正誤辨析1. 既然你是一個新手,你就應當避開市中的行駛。誤:Since you are a new driver, you should avoid to drive in the center of town.正:Since you are a new driver, you should avoid driving in the center of town.析:avoid, “避免,回避”,后面接名詞或動詞的-ing形式,不可接動詞不定式。英語中類似詞還有: consider , delay, enjoy, escape, excuse, fini

2、sh, forgive, imagine, miss, practice, risk, suggest, understand ,etc.2他必須記住把這個電子郵件發(fā)出去。誤:He must remember sending the e-mail.正:He must remember to send the e-mail.析:remember, “記得”,后面跟動詞不定式時意為“記得要去干”, 而后面接-ing形式時,意為“記得干了”。例如:I remember going there two years ago.我記得兩年前去過那兒了。類似的用法還有:forget to do sth. 忘記

3、了去干(還沒有干),forget doing sth.忘記了干過(事實上已干過);stop doing sth.停止干(正在干的事情),stop to do sth.停下來去干(另一件事情);try to do sth.盡力去干,try doing sth.試著干;regret to do sth.為將要說或做的事而感到遺憾,regret doing sth.后悔干了;go on to do sth.接著去干(另一件事),go on doing sth.接著干(原來在干的事)。3我全家人的個子都很高。誤:My family is all tall.誤:My families are all t

4、all.正:My family are all tall.析:family當“家人”講時為集合名詞,做主語時謂語多用復數(shù);當“家庭”講時為可數(shù)名詞,謂語采用語法一致的原則。例如:Their family has lived in this house for over a hundred years.他們家住在這個房子里一百多年了。Many families lost their houses during the flood.很多家庭在這次洪水中失去了家園。4我希望能早日收到你的答復。誤:Im looking forward to hear from you soon.正:Im lookin

5、g forward to hearing from you soon.正:Im looking forward to your reply soon.析:look forward to后面的to為介詞,這一短語后面總是跟名詞或動詞的-ing形式。但要注意搞清楚look forward to的真正意義上的邏輯賓語。例如:The day I looked forward to came at last.我盼望的那一天終于到來了。其它類似的短語還有:be /get used to習慣于;stick to堅持;devote oneself to致力于;pay attention to注意。5據(jù)說這個班

6、里有四分之三的學生看過<哈里.波特>這部電影。 誤:Three fourths of the students in this class is said to have seen the film “Harry Porter”. 正:Three fourths of the students in this class are said to have seen the film “Harry Porter”. 析:“分數(shù)或百分數(shù)+名詞+謂語動詞”,謂語動詞數(shù)的形式要視名詞中心詞而定。例如:One third of the fruit is bad. 60% of the pop

7、ulation here are workers. 6你認識一個叫海倫布朗的小女孩嗎? 誤:Do you know a little girl is called Helen Brown? 誤:Do you know a little girl calling Helen Brown? 正:Do you know a little girl called/named Helen Brown? 析:called / named Helen Brown為過去分詞短語做定語修飾a little girl, 相當于定語從句who is called/named Helen Brown或whose na

8、me is Helen Brown。7來到這里三個月了,她已習慣了早上五點起床。 誤:She has been here for 3 months and has been used to get up at 5:30 a.m. 正:She has been here for 3 months and has been used to getting up at 5:30 a.m. 析:be/get used to ,”習慣于的”,后接名詞或動詞的-ing形式;而used to表示“事物過去經(jīng)?;蛴幸?guī)律的發(fā)生”. Eg: We used to swim in the river every d

9、ay when we were children.我們小的時候天天在這條河里游泳。8倫敦人要聽懂來自格拉斯哥的蘇格蘭人的話比理解紐約人的英語更困難。 誤:A Londoner has more difficulty to understand a Scotsman from Glasgow than understand a New Yorker. 正:A Londoner has more difficulty understanding a Scotsman from Glasgow than understanding a New Yorker. 正:A Londoner has mor

10、e trouble understanding a Scotsman from Glasgow than understanding a New Yorker.析:have (no/a little/much/great) difficulty/trouble (in) doing sth.做某事有(沒有,一點兒,很多,巨大)的困難。再如:Having been ill in bed for nearly a month, he had great difficulty passing the exam.病了將近一個月,他很難考試及格。9 我在你這個年齡時就不得不努力工作。 誤:I must

11、work hard when I was your age. 正:I had to work hard when I was your age.析:have to的含義與must相似,兩者往往可以互換使用,但have to有各種形式,隨have的變化而變化,往往強調(diào)客觀需要;must表說話人的主觀看法。Eg: The film is boring, I really must go now. 這部電影沒有意思,我真的要走了。10我寧愿和你們一起參加科研工作,也不愿到海濱度假。 誤:I prefer to join you in research work rather than to go o

12、n holiday to the seaside. 正:I prefer to join you in research work rather than go on holiday to the seaside. 正:I would rather join you in research work than go on holiday to the seaside. 正:Rather than go on holiday to the seaside, I prefer to join you in research work to the seaside.析:”prefer to dora

13、ther than do”, “would rather do sththan do”表主觀上的選擇,“寧愿也不愿”, 注意其后的動詞不定式符號的省略.11. 我簡直不能想象彼得一個人橫穿大西洋的情景。 誤:I can hardly imagine Peter sail across the Atlantic. 正:I can hardly imagine Peter sailing across the Atlantic.析:imagine, suggest, appreciate等動詞后接-ing形式,有時-ing形式前可加一代詞或名詞做它的邏輯主語。Eg: I would appreci

14、ate your calling back this evening.今晚你能打電話來我將非常感謝!12父親對我強調(diào)了勤奮的重要意義。 誤:My father impressed me the value of hard work . 正:My father impressed on me the value of hard work析:impress on sb.,“使印象深刻”, 在被動語態(tài)里,后用介詞”by, with”。例如:The audience were most impressed by/with his excellent performance. His excellent performance gave/made me a strong impression on his audience. 他精彩的表演給觀眾留下了深刻的印象。13政府十之八九將在下屆大選中失敗。 誤:It is true that the government will lose the next e
