Lots of them were pulled down in the 1960s.二十世紀(jì) 60 年代許多舊城被拆掉了。此句用了被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)，結(jié)構(gòu)為：be + 動(dòng)詞過(guò)去分詞，本句為一般過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)，動(dòng)詞 be 用 was / were，如：The first robot was invented in 1921

2、.第一臺(tái)機(jī)器人是 1921 年發(fā)明的。pull down 拆除，推倒，常用來(lái)指建筑物被拆毀。in the 1960s 二十世紀(jì)六十年代，即 19601969 年之間，而非 1960 這一年。 2. People thought them useless.人們認(rèn)為它們沒(méi)有用途。think 的用法：（1）think + 名代 + 形 adj.，如：He thinks himself very important.他認(rèn)為他自己了不起。He thinks English very important.他認(rèn)為英語(yǔ)很重要。（2）think + 名（代）+ 名詞I think the boy a polit

Yes, I did.吉姆，上周你參觀了秦始皇兵馬俑，對(duì)吧？是的。反意疑問(wèn)句：說(shuō)話人對(duì)自己的看法不完全肯定，要求對(duì)方加以證實(shí)，這時(shí)使用的疑問(wèn)句叫做反意疑問(wèn)句。反意疑問(wèn)句由一個(gè)陳述句和一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)略的問(wèn)句構(gòu)成。在反意疑問(wèn)句中，如果前一部分是肯定的

7、陳述句，后一部分要用否定的簡(jiǎn)略疑問(wèn)句，如果前一部分是否定的陳述句，后一部分要用肯定形式的簡(jiǎn)略疑問(wèn)句，兩部分在人稱、數(shù)、時(shí)態(tài)方面均要保持一致?；卮饡r(shí)要用 yes 或 no。注意的是當(dāng)?shù)谝徊糠譃榉穸ň鋾r(shí)，回答要根據(jù)事實(shí)，這時(shí)英語(yǔ)回答和漢語(yǔ)回答是不一致的。如： Emperor Qins Terra Cotta Warriors are one of the greatest wonders of the world, arent they? 跡之一，對(duì)吧？秦始皇兵馬俑是世界奇不，它不是。是的，它是。aren t. they No,are. they Yes, There arent any trea

I didnt.不，我看過(guò)。對(duì)，我沒(méi)看過(guò)。No,（1）疑問(wèn)部分的主語(yǔ)必須是與陳述部分主語(yǔ)在人稱、數(shù)、時(shí)態(tài)方面保持一致的人稱代詞。如：His uncles are drivers, arent they?他的叔叔們是司機(jī)

9、，是不是？Yes, they are.是的，他們是。Lily will be free tomorrow, wont she?莉莉明天有空，是嗎？Yes, she will.對(duì)，她有空。（2）疑問(wèn)部分的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞要與陳述部分的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞保持人稱、數(shù)和時(shí)態(tài)一致。如：There were no people in the classroom, were there?教室里沒(méi)人了，是嗎？No, there werent.是的，沒(méi)人了。You saw the film yesterday, didnt you?你昨天看電影了，是不是？Yes, I did.是的，我看了。They can speak Eng

10、lish, cant they?他們能說(shuō)英語(yǔ)，是嗎？No, they cant.不，他們不能。 2. It stands in New York.它矗立在紐約。stand 動(dòng)詞， “位于，矗立于” 。如：His house stands on a hill.他的房子坐落在小山上。A tall tree stands in the garden.花園里聳立著一棵大樹(shù)。Section C 1. It is one of the “seven wonders” of the ancient world still standing.它是現(xiàn)存的古代“七大奇跡”之一。the ancient world

It took about 100,000 people over 20 years to build it.建造大金字塔花了大約

12、十萬(wàn)人二十年的時(shí)間。句中 it 為形式主語(yǔ)，不定式短語(yǔ) to build it 為真正的主語(yǔ)。在英語(yǔ)中，不定式作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，常用 it 作形式主語(yǔ)，而把真正的主語(yǔ)“不定式”放在句尾。如：To visit the museum is a great pleasure.參觀博物館是一件愉快的事。此句可改為 It is a great pleasure to visit the museum.Its important to learn English.To learn English is important.學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)是重要的。 3.
