2、ystem is designed to detect the fire in the early stage. The nodes are deployed in the monitoring area, building up a network based on Ethernet. Two important parameters of fire, CO gas and smoke, will be detected. Nodes acquire the parameters and convert the signals of sensors to digital data, proc
3、essed data are transmitted to the host computer though Ethernet. The host computer stores these data and analyzes them by Neural-Net Algorithms. If a fire is confirmed, alarm will be triggered. The system can also access to Internet, as a part of Internet of Things. The system is very suitable for t
4、he fire detecting in modern buildings, such as home, laboratory and office. Through the experiment, results show that the system has a real time response, good operation stability and high speed data transmission.Keyword: early fire detection; Ethernet;TCP/IP; Internet of things1. IntroductionA fire
5、 will generate heat, gases, smoke, flames, and combustion waves and so on . These parameters can be used to indicate fire occurrence. Nowadays, there are several kinds of fire detector, for instance, smoke detector, flame detector, temperature detector and combination detector. The wiring of a fire
6、detecting system is also various, such as multiple wire system and bus system. In recent years, the development trend of bus system march towards networking.In order to alarm the fire as early as possible and eliminate distortion fire, combination detector which can detect CO gas and smoke is adopte
7、d. The network of this system is build up based on Ethernet which is the most wildly used LAN (Local Area Network) communication protocol standards. Data transmission of the system is based on TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) . As a mature technology, it provides a reliable t
8、ransmission.The system includes fire detecting nodes, Ethernet switches and a host server.0Shown as in Figure 1, nodes are deployed in the building to monitor the parameters of the early fire. These nodes are connected to the switches that are set on every floor though RJ-45. All the switches get ac
9、cess to the network of Ethernet. At the same time, a host computer and server will link to the Internet; the data of fire detection will easily be acquired anywhere.There are several advantages in this design: the system can carry enough nodes for the building as many as needed; nodes are very easy
10、to be added in or removed from the network; routing maintenanc e become very easy; the data transmission is reliable and convenient to be acquired; since each node has astatic IP address, the fire is mucheasier to be located.2. NETWORK NODE OF COMPLEX FIRE DETECTIONFire detectors are deployed in the
11、 monitoring area. The detector includes three parts: the module of control& communication, the module of fire parameters detection and power supply. Control & communication module handles the process of converting and transmits the data to the Ethernet.The analog signals of CO and smoke conc

20、 caused the fire departments and all sectors of society attention. Automatic fire alarm equipment design, production, application will have a larger development. Installation of automatic fire alarm system is aimed atthe timely detection of fire, to take timely fire-ing, evacuation and other measure
21、sto minimize losses due to fire. Automatic fire alarm system is composed of fire alarm detectors, fire alarm controller and other on-site alarm component. In accordance with Fire Code, fire alarm detector has inductive smoke detectors, temperature detector alarm button manually, etc. When the fire a
22、larm controller receives a smoke detector, temperature detector, manual alarm buttons or other items to send to trigger a fire signal, issued by sound and light alarm signal, recording the fire of the time, place,and this information through the printer automatically printed out. At the same time0fi
23、re alarm controller output control signal to start the corresponding control module. Automatic fire alarm system also has a fault alarm, the main and backup power supply auto-switching, alarm display, the system self-test functions. The fire alarm detector described in this paper uses two wire syste
24、m, this two-line is not only the power line, but also the signal transmission line. Two-wire system can reduce the wall alignment, to improve communication reliability, construction, easy installation. Each detector with the respective internal address coding circuit is used to provide detector'
25、s address. In this paper, the overall structure fire alarm control design and research has practical application value and broad potential for development.II. THE DESIGN OF THE OVERALL STRUCTURE OF THE SYSTEMAutomatic fire alarm system from the logical structure is divided into the central control u
26、nit, linkage switching unit, direct control unit, fire detectors four modules. Fire alarm controller and sub-machine communication use of RS485, 485 selected MAX1487.
