46、解釋。語法一致:即主語是單數(shù)形式,謂語動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)形式,主語是復(fù)數(shù)形式,謂語也用復(fù)數(shù)形式。一、當(dāng)主語由and連結(jié)時(shí),如果表示同一人或同一物時(shí),謂語動(dòng)詞用單數(shù),此時(shí)and后面的名詞無冠詞。 如 表示不同的人或物時(shí), 謂語動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù),此時(shí)and后面的名詞有冠詞。The worker and writer is from Shanghai. 那個(gè)工人兼作家 來自上海。The writer and the worker are coming to our school tomorrow.那位作家和那位工人明天將來我們學(xué)校。(兩個(gè)人)The League secretary and monitor is
47、asked to make a speech at the meeting. 二、動(dòng)詞不定式(短語), 動(dòng)名詞(短語), 或從句作主語時(shí), 謂語動(dòng)詞常用單數(shù)。例如: 1. Going out for a walk after supper is a good habit. 晚飯后出去散步是一個(gè)好習(xí)慣。2. To see is to believe. 眼見為實(shí)。三、不定代詞somebody, someone, something, anybody, anything, everybody, everyone, everything, nobody, no one, nothing等作主語,謂語動(dòng)
48、詞用單數(shù)形式;Eg: Is everyone here?Nothing is to be done. 沒有什么要干的事兒了。四、關(guān)系代詞who, that, which等在定語從句中作主語時(shí),其謂語動(dòng)詞的數(shù)應(yīng)與句中先行詞的數(shù)一致。如: 1)Those who want to go please sign their names here. 2)Anyone who is against this opinion may speak out. 意義一致:即主語形式上為單數(shù),但意義為復(fù)數(shù),因此謂語動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式;或主語形式上為復(fù)數(shù),但表示單數(shù)意義,這時(shí)謂語動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)形式一、由集體名詞,如group
49、, family, class, government, team, public, enemy, crowd, audience, club, party, crew等作主語時(shí),如果看成一個(gè)整體,謂語動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)形式,如果看成其中各成員,則用復(fù)數(shù)形式. 1. Every means has been tried since then. 2. No news is good news. 五、theadj.作主語theadj.,表示一類人,謂語動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù),如the old, the young, the rich, the poor等the+ adj.,表示一類抽象的事
