6、ern song dynasty. the academy accepted disciples throughout the song, yuan, ming and qing dynasties. it was only in 1903 that the academy was transformed from a school of traditional confucian learning to an insitute of higher learning and in 1926 it was officially named hunan university. Lined in the zhongying street in the

15、south part of the fenghuang old town, the residence is a typical spacious ancient countryard with special tectonic style of ming and qing dynasty. walk into the yard, you can find that there is a small patio in the center of the countryard. which is built with red rock. around the patio , there are

16、about 10 rooms which are small but decorated by special carved wooden windows .its so beautiful.Its the mother river of this ancient town. Choose to take a boat covered with black matting and tour along the river, go sightseeing the Miao wooden house. listen to the fishermans folk songs, and you wil

17、l feel yourself keeping far away from the mortal life. 沱江的南岸是古城墻，用紫紅沙石砌成，典雅不失雄偉。城墻有東、北兩座城樓，久經(jīng)滄桑，依然壯觀。沱江河水清澈，城墻邊的河道很淺，水流悠游緩和，可以看到柔波里招搖的水草，可以撐一支長篙漫溯。沿沱江邊而建的吊腳樓群在東門虹橋和北門跳巖附近,細(xì)腳伶仃的立在沱江里，象一幅永不回來的風(fēng)景。The Southern Great Wall 南方長城（苗疆長城） Its a mililtary remains in Ming&Qing Dynesty. it had witnessed the ethni

The wall is 382 miles long, and the main part is across the ancient phoenix town .The Southern Great Wall is part of China Great Wall and also should be listed as the world natural and cultural heritage.Hongqiao Art Building 虹橋藝術(shù)樓It lies above the Tuo River and makes up a folk picture of the an
