Gently Separate the top cover fromthe inStrument and lay aside, Most of the in ternal parts of the in Strume nt are now accessibleif accessto thefront of the circui
28、t boardSare necessary,remove the knobs from the external control shafts on the board.Remove the two screws Securi ng the Side panel to the In put Circuit board and remove the inStrume nt Side pan el . (See 5 . DISASSEMBLY ILLUSTRA TION .) Clea ningThe instrUment should be cleaned as often as operati
29、ng con diti ons require .accumulati onof dirt in the in Strume nt cancause component breakdown ,The covers provide protect ion aga inst dust in the in teriorof the inStrument . Loose dust accumulated on these covers can be removed with a soft cloth or small brush .Dirt that rema ins can be removed w
30、ith a soft cloth depe nded in a mild deterge nt and water soluti on . Abrasive c1ea ners should not be used .Clea ning the in terlor Should only be occaSi on allyn ecessary.The best way to clean the interior is to blow off the dust with a dry, low velocity Stream of air . 32、 The corrective procedure for most ViSible defects is apparent; however , parti cular care must be taken if heat damaged components are found . overheating usually indicates other trouble in the instrument ; therefore , correct ing the cause of the overheat ing is importa nt to preve nt recurra nee

Office or represe ntative.4 . 1 CALIBRA TION INTERVALTOmaintain instrument accuracy ,performthe calibra
34、ti onoftheSixV 1050 at least every 1000 month if used infrequently .hoursof operati ons orevery4. 2 TEST EQUIPMENT REQUIREDThe folloWi ng test equipme nt and accessories,or equivale nt ,are required for the complete calibration of the V 1050 . Therefore , the Specifications of any test equipment usedmust meet orexceedthelistedSpecifications .All the testequipment is assumedto becorrectly calibrated and operat ing with in the liSted Specificati on.
