1、Unit 3 Food and Culture Reading and Thinking教學設計科目:英語 課題:Reading and Thinking 課時:1課時教學目標與核心素養(yǎng):知識目標:通過閱讀,了解中國各地典型菜肴,并思考食物與地域、文化傳統(tǒng)、當?shù)厝诵愿竦年P系。能力目標:學生學會在閱讀過程中梳理文章信息,分析文章結構。情感目標:通過了解中國各地美食,思考飲食與文化的關系。教學重難點教學重點:引導學生研讀語篇、梳理信息、挖掘主題,了解探討中國菜肴所蘊含的文化內(nèi)涵和所體現(xiàn)的地域特點、歷史傳統(tǒng)等,并結合自身知識和體驗,思考飲食與文化、飲食與人們性格之間的聯(lián)系。教學難點:引導學生借助文本

2、中的語篇銜接詞,或通過理解文字背后的隱含意義,準確把握信息之間的因果,提升閱讀理解能力。課前準備:多媒體,黑板,粉筆教學過程:一、Pre-reading1. Greeting2. Leading-in(1)教師活動:教師引導學生結合文章標題和插圖預測文章內(nèi)容。教師可通過以下問題啟發(fā)學生思考:What is the title of the text? (Culture and Cuisine.)What can you see from the pictures in the text? (Food.) What do you think the word cuisine in the tit

3、le means? (Food cooked in a certain way.)What kinds of food are they? (Chinese food.)What do you think the text is about? (Maybe it is about different kinds of Chinese food and the culture each food represents.)(2)學生活動:分組討論活動1中的問題,挑選學生回答討論結果,并與全班同學分享。1. How many kinds of Chinese cuisine are there, a

What, if anything, do these cuisines tell you about the people who eat them?(There are at least eight different kinds of Chinese cuisines: Anhui, Cantonese, Sichuan, Shandong, Fujian, Jiangsu, Hunan, and Zhejiang. 5、ines that are famous, such as Beijing Cuisine, Hubei Cuisine, Jiangxi Cuisine, and Shanghai Cuisine. It is believed that different cuisines reflect different personalities of people who eat them.
