1、TheCharacteristicsandApplicationStudyonUltraAbstract: Ultra pozz is a superfine glass bead from the smoke discharged by coal station, whose averageparticlesizeis1.0m.ThesurfaceofUltrapozzisvitreousbody,whichshowsspherical. The mixed water for concrete can be reduced and the fluidity of concrete is i
2、ncreased when Ultra pozz is partly instead of cement and added into concrete. The strength and durability of concrete will be increased by using the Ultra pozz for concrete. And the Ultra pozz is one new component in concrete low carbon technology. The application of Ultra pozz is introduced in the

If Ultra pozzis partly instead of cementand added into concrete, there is no need to add Micro silica fume, C60, C70 and C80 HPC
5、 can be produced but can be still with enough workability and plasticity Performance also.When Ultra pozz and Micro silica fumeare both to instead of cement and added into concrete, even C100 and C120 Ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) can be produced. In addition, Concrete Piles with Ultra-high
6、 performance can be manufactured within Ultra pozz.RawCement: P.O42.5 or P.O52.5 (Code C); Micro silica fume (Code SF); Superplasticizer (Code AG); Fine aggregate (Medium sand, Code S); Coarse aggregate: gravel or crushed limestone (Code G).UltraPhysicalSphericalparticles,Vitreousbodywithsmoothsurfa

12、; even the water amount is reduced from 150g to 133g, the fluidity is 236mm which is similar to stand cement fluidity 240mm. Moreover, When 25% of cement is equivalent alternative byULTRAPOZZ ,thefluidityisincreasedto273mm,andthesametime,thefluidity is 245mmwhen wateramountisreduced to 120g, which i
13、s litter bigger than standcementfluidity.TheEffectofUltrapozz on MortarUltra pozz dosage is 17%, 25%, respectively instead of cement. 17、 with Ultra pozz can help to keep the workability of fresh HPC concrete.As shown in Table7, C70C80 HPC can be produced by mixing with Ultra pozz, Fly ash and UHPCPerformanceTestmixedwithUltraThe ultra-high performance of High workability and long Plasticity can be achieved by mixing both of Ultra po
18、zz and Micro Silica Fume in low W/C ratio and superplasticizer. 19、trengthofUHPCFrom the Table9, we can find that the 28d Compressive Strength of UHPC mixed with Ultra pozz and Micro Silica Fume was 132.7MPa, which exceeded C120 Strength Level.6TheEffectofUltrapozzonconcrete6.1 The diffusion depth of Cl- in mortar mixed with Ultra pozz in different Ultra pozz dosag
20、e is 0, 10%, 20%, respectively instead of cement, and the mortar specimens were soaked in saturated brine, and to test the diffusion depth of Cl- in mortar specimens at different cured period, and the test result is shown in Table10.Table10TheDiffusiondepthofCl-inMortarmixedwithUltraStandardDosageof
21、10%ULTRA7Dosageof20%ULTRA69AsshowninTable10,whencementwasrespectivelyinsteadbyUltra pozzasthe dosage is10% and 20%, the diffusion depth of Cl- in mortar specimens is only 1/2 of standard mortar specimen.6.1ResistancetosulfateattackmixedwithULTRAThe resistance to sulfate attack mixed with flyash canb
22、e evaluated by the formula R=(C-5)/F, (in this formula, CCaO percentage content, FFe2O3 percentage content), if some fly ashs R1, it means that the concrete mixed with this kind of fly ash have a good resistance to sulfate attack. Ultra pozz is one kind of super fine powder of fly ash, and in this r
23、esearch, the CCaO percentage content is 4.8%, FFe2O3 percentage content is 5.3%, if put C and F into the above equation, we can calculate that R is negative, so the Ultra pozz is of high sulfate resistance. Some research proved that, if the HPC concrete specimens which mixed Ultra pozz were immersed
24、 in the solution of 5% Na2SO4, and the solution of 5% Na2SO4+3%NaCl, respectively, getting out after 14h and natural dry 2 hours, after then, drying in (802) for 6 hours, finally cooling specimens for 2h, after 50 times cycle like this, all the HPC specimens mixed with Ultra pozz have no significant change in appearance and weight.7 Ultra pozz is an ultrafine particles of glass beads, and the average particle
