as...as意為“和……

adj./

adv.

+as。e.g.This

film

is

as

interesting

as

that

one. Your

pen

writes

as

smoothly

as

mine. as…as否定形式為“notas/so+adj./adv.+as”。e.g.Hedidn’tactaswellasyou. 3.Foroneweek,shedidnotdoanyhouseworkandneitherdidI.neither用作副詞,作“也不”解釋,放在句首,表示前面否定內(nèi)容也適合用于另一個人或物,句子須采取部分倒裝。 比如:—I

don’t

like

this

dress.

/

Nor

do

I.

比如:He

answered

neither

of

the

letters.

one

would

you

like?

Neither.

1.also

also,too,either,neither的用法Iamalsoastudent. Mrs.GreencanalsosingthesonginChinese. 比如:I’minRow1,too.

Tomdoesn’tknowhim,either. Ifyoudon’tgothere,hewon’tgothere,either.

Neitherofyoucandoit. Summary1.Newvocabularylastmonth,comeovertakethedogforawalk,watchoneshowallthetime,thenextday,neitherdidI2.ImportantsentencesTheminuteIsatdowninfrontoftheTV,mymomcameover.Foroneweek,shedidnotdoanyhousework,andneitherdidI.I’mjustastiredasyouare! 出去散步foldone’sclothesdothedishesuseone’scomputertakeouttherubbishmakethebedsweepthefloorstayoutlatebeangrywithsb.takesb.forawalk清掃客廳在…… Sure,thatshouldbeOK.Couldwegetsomethingtodrinkafterthemovie?No,youcan’t.Youhaveabasketballgametomorrow.Couldyoupleasetakethedogforawalk?OK,butIwanttowatchoneshowfirst.Couldyoupleasetakeouttherubbish?Yes,sure. Keysentencestructures

Couldyou(please)+

1.Couldyoupleasecleanyourroom?Yes,sure./Ofcourse./Certainly./Allright.2.Couldyoupleasedothedishes?

Sorry,Ican’t.Ihavetodomyhomework.

—Peter,couldyoupleasetakeoutthetrash?—Sure,Mom.

—Couldyoupleasedothedishes?—Sorry,Ican’t.Ihavetodomyhomework. 例:①Could/Can/MayIuseyourcarforaday?②IwonderifIcoulduseyourcarforaday?

或Ofcourse.(youmay/can).或Goahead,please.或That’sOK/allright;假如不一樣意,能夠說I’msorryyoucan’t.或I’mreallysorry,butIhavetouseittoday.要防止說No,youcan’t. ③DoyoumindifIuseyourcarforaday?

不論必定還是否定應(yīng)答中,要防止使用could,要用can或may。 或No,youcouldn’t.而要說Yes,youcan.或Sorry./No,youcan’t.—CouldIpleaseuseyourcomputer?—Sorry,I’mgoingtoworkonitnow.

—Well,couldIwatchTV?—Yes,youcan.CouldI/youplease…? Wouldyoulike+sth./todosth.?MayI+dosth.?Shallwe+dosth.?Wouldyoumind+sth./doingsth.?

What/Howabout+sth./doingsth.?

Sure./Ofcourse./Certainly./OK./Great./Well./Goodidea./Iagree.等。否定回答有Sorry…/No,youcan’t.等。MakeupdialoguesusingthesentencesinGrammarFocuswithyourpartner.A:Couldyoupleasetakethedogforawalk?B:OK,butIwanttowatchoneshowfirst.a.Yes,hereyouare.b.Hmm.Howmuchdoyouneed?c.Yes,sure.Noproblem.Ifinishedreadingitlastnight.d.Yes,butdon’tcomebacktoolate.e.No,Ican’t.IcutmyfingerandI’mtryingnottogetitwet.4aWriteRforrequestsandPforpermission.Thenmatcheachonewiththecorrectresponse.1.___CouldIhangoutwithmyfriendsafterthemovies?出去玩2.___Couldyoupleasepassmethesalt?3.___CouldIborrowthatbook?4.___Couldyouhelpmedothedishes?5.___Couldyoulendmesomemoney?PPRRRdacebborrow和lendborrow和lend都有“借”意思,但它們含義和使用方法有所不一樣?!

He’sgoingtolendhisbiketoTom.Youmustn’tlendothersmypen.

providesb.withsth.或providesth.forsb. 如:It’severyteacher’sjobtoexplainthingsclearlytothestudents. Themovietheaterprovidesuswithgoodservice.Hisschoolprovidedahouseforhim. Theyprovidedhimwithmoneyandclothes.Theyprovidedmoneyandclothesforhim.2.Andanyway,Ithinkdoingchoresisnotsodifficult.

Samdidn’tgetthejob,buthe’snotunhappybecauseitdidn’tpaywell

anyway. It’sjustacold.But

anyway,youshouldstillseethedoctor. 如:Alicewasill/sickyesterday.◆不一樣點表示“生病”時,sick可作定語,但ill通常不作定語。如:Couldyouhelpthesick

“the+比較級+……,the+比較級+……” Manypeoplebelievethatthemoreapersonreads,thewiserhewillbecome. I. 1.Hewasi___butnobodytookhimtothehospital.2.Ifyoudon’tstudyhard,yourgradeswilld______.3.IlikeOldHenrybecauseheoftenp_______uswithhotwater.illdropprovides4.Wecand______onhimforhelp.5.Motherthinksplayingcomputergamesisaw______oftime.II. 1.He_________(develop)afarmfromnothing.2.Infact,youngpeoplehavetoomuch______(stress)today.wastedependdevelopedstress3.Hedidn’tmind________(help)mewithmyEnglish.4.Mr.LiandMr.Wangarebothmy_________(neighbor).5.Whydidthemanmakethelittleboy________(carry)water?carryhelpingneighborsAfterclass,pleasemakesomenewdialogues
