Wemuststopplayingcomputergames.It'stimeforclass.我們必須停止玩電子游戲,該上課了。2)stop作名詞,意為“停止;逗留,車站”=station例如:Iwillwaitforyouatthebusstop.我會(huì)在公共汽車站等你。四、知識(shí)點(diǎn)hundredhundred是數(shù)詞,意為“百”,當(dāng)表示具體的“幾百”時(shí),用“基數(shù)詞+hundred”,注意不加-s。例如:Thereareninehundredstudentsinourschool.我們學(xué)校有900名學(xué)生。拓展:1)hundredsof表示“數(shù)百,成百上千的”這時(shí)hundred后要加-s,且后面有介詞of,但是不能與數(shù)詞連用。例如:Therearehundredsofpeopleintherestaurant.在餐館里有成百上千的人。2)表示數(shù)詞的還有thousand“千”,million“百萬”,billion“十億”。它們的用法和hundred一樣,可以用來表示約數(shù)和確數(shù)。例如:Therearethousandsofpeoplearewaitingtoseethemoviestar.數(shù)千人在等著見那個(gè)電影明星。五、知識(shí)點(diǎn)表示“乘……”的幾種表達(dá)方式1)用介詞短語來表示交通方式,介詞短語在句中作狀語。(1)用“by+交通工具名詞”表示交通方式。例如:bybike騎自行車bycar乘小汽車bybus乘公共汽車用“by+交通路線的位置”來表示交通方式。例如:bywater由水路byland從陸路bysea從海路byair乘飛機(jī)(3)用“in/on+冠詞/形容詞性物主代詞/指示代詞+交通工具名詞”表示交通方式。其中,in多用在car等交通工具之前,而on多用在bike/horse/bus/train/ship等交通工具之前,它們的用法與“by+交通工具名詞”的用法相同。例如:Sheoftengoestoschoolona/herbike.=Sheoftengoestoschoolbybike.她經(jīng)常騎自行車上學(xué)。(4)onfoot步行。onfoot是固定搭配,表示步行,其中foot不能用復(fù)數(shù)形式feet,其前也不加任何修飾詞。例如:Sheoftengoestoschoolonfoot.她經(jīng)常步行去上學(xué)。2)用動(dòng)詞短語表示交通方式,動(dòng)詞短語在句中作謂語。(1)用“take+a/the+交通工具名詞”表示交通方式。例如:takeatrain乘火車takeabus乘公共汽車takeaship乘船takeaplane乘飛機(jī)注意:“騎自行車”要翻譯為“rideabike”(2)用某些動(dòng)詞來表示交通方式。例如walkto步行去driveto開車去rideto騎車/馬去注意:如果接地點(diǎn)副詞here;there;home時(shí),介詞to應(yīng)該省略。知識(shí)點(diǎn)Ittakessb.sometimetodosth.1)Ittakessb.sometimetodosth.是固定句型,意為“做某事需要花費(fèi)某人多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間”。take在此意為“花費(fèi)”,it是形式主語,真正的主語是后面的不定式todosth.,對(duì)這個(gè)句式中的時(shí)間提問時(shí)用howlong。例如:Ittakesmehalfanhourtofinishmyhomeworkeveryday.我每天花費(fèi)半個(gè)小時(shí)的時(shí)間做作業(yè)。Howlongdoesittakeyoufromyourhometoschool從學(xué)校到你家要花多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間?2)動(dòng)詞spend也有“花費(fèi)多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間做某事”的意思,但句式和take不同。它的句式是“sb.spends+時(shí)間或金錢+(in)doingsth./onsth.”。例如:Ispendabout3hours(in)doing/onmyhomeworkeveryday.我每天花大約三個(gè)小時(shí)做作業(yè)。知識(shí)點(diǎn)cross1)cross作動(dòng)詞,意為“橫過,越過”,指從表面上橫過。例如:Theycrosstherivereveryday.他們每天都要過河。Crosstheroad,youwillseethestore.過了馬路,你就會(huì)看到那個(gè)商店。2)cross作名詞,意為“十字架,十字形飾物;畫十字的動(dòng)作”。例如:Jesusdiedonthecross.耶穌死在十字架上。Hemadeacrossoverhishead.他在他頭上畫了一個(gè)十字。拓展:across和cross的區(qū)別這兩個(gè)詞都是“橫越,橫跨,橫穿”的意思,但是cross是動(dòng)詞可以單獨(dú)作謂語;但是across是介詞,需要和動(dòng)詞一起構(gòu)成謂語。例如:Theycrossthestreettogotoschooleveryday.Theywalkacrossthestreettogotoschooleveryday.知識(shí)點(diǎn).beafraid…afraid是形容詞,意為“害怕的,恐懼的”。常和系動(dòng)詞一起構(gòu)成系表結(jié)構(gòu)。例如:Iamnotafraid.我不害怕。句式beafraid是afraid最常用的形式,其常見的用法有:1)beafraidof①beafraidof后跟名詞或者代詞,意為“害怕某人或某物”。例如:Areyouafraidofdogs你害怕狗嗎
Sheseemsverymuchafraidofhim.她好像很害怕他。②beafraidofdoingsrh.,意為“怕做某事或不敢做某事”。例如:I’mafraidoftellingher.我不敢告訴她。Heisafraidofjumping.他不敢跳。2)beafraidtodosth.意為“害怕做某事或不敢做某事”。例如:Heisafraidtoflyinaplane.他不敢坐飛機(jī)。注意:表示擔(dān)心會(huì)發(fā)生某事或某情況,只能用beafraidof,而表示“害怕做某事或不敢做某事”時(shí),既可以用beafraidof也可以用beafraidto。例如:Don’tbeafraidtoask(ofasking)question.不要害怕問問題。Heisafraidtogoout(ofgoingout)aloneatnight.他不敢晚上一個(gè)人出去。3)beafraidthatbeafraidthat后跟一個(gè)完整的句子,意為“擔(dān)心/恐怕……”。例如:Heisafraidthatshewillnotcome.他擔(dān)心她不會(huì)來。IamafraidIcan’thelpyou.恐怕我?guī)筒涣四?。在日??谡Z中,“I’mafraidthat…”在很多場(chǎng)合相當(dāng)于“I’msorry,but…”。用于提出異議,說出令人不快的事實(shí),拒絕對(duì)方的要求等,使語氣委婉。例如:I'mafraidIdon'tunderstand.抱歉,我不明白你的意思。I’mafraidyouarewrong.(Youarewrong,I’mafraid.)恐怕你錯(cuò)了。4)在口語中I’mafraidso.和I’mafraidnot.常用作簡(jiǎn)略答語。例如:-Isitgoingtoraintomorrow明天會(huì)下雨嗎
