同位語從句同位語從句講練一、定義:主從復(fù)合句中用作同位語的從句,叫同位語從句。(名詞性從句之一)用以說明前面名詞所表示的具體內(nèi)容。e.g.Thenewsthatourteamhadwonthegamemadeusexcited.Weheardthenewsthatourteamhadwonthegame.二、引導(dǎo)詞:由連詞that;whether;連接(代)副詞who;when;where;how;why

等引導(dǎo)。三、先行詞:常為某些抽象名詞,如:news;idea;word;fact;hope;doubt;belief;possibility;problem;question;thought;promise;information;message;decision;answer;reply等。四、位置:常緊跟某些名詞之后;但有時(shí)被其它詞隔開,稱分隔式同位語從句。e.g.1.Thetexttellsusafactthatsmokingdoesgreatharmtopeople’shealth.2.Ihavenoideathathehasalreadygoneabroad/whenhewillbeback/whobrokethewindow/whyshewenthome.3.Ihavenodoubt/Thereisnodoubtthathewillsucceed.4.Ihavesomedoubt/Thereissomedoubtwhethertheycancompletethetaskontime.5.ThebeliefthatallroadsleadtoRomeissharedbymanypeople.6.Thepossibilitythatpeoplewouldhavetowalktothefarmwasmentioned.7.Hecan’tanswerthequestionhowhegotthemoney.8.Wedon’tunderstandtheproblemwhythisisthebestchoice.9.TomgotamessagefromMrSmiththattherewouldbeatestsoon.10.WordcamethatChinalauncheditsfirstmannedspaceshiponOct.15,2003.11.Thethoughtcametoherthatmaybeshehadleftthedooropenwhenshelefthome.五、語氣:在suggestion;advice;order;request等表示“建議命令;要求”等詞后,同位語從句中的謂語動(dòng)詞常用“(should)+動(dòng)詞原形”虛擬結(jié)構(gòu)。e.g.12.Hegavemanysuggestionsthatwe(should)getupearlierandtakemoreexercise.13.Thegovernmentgavetheorderthatallthesehouses(should)bepulleddowninthreeweeks.六、that引導(dǎo)的同位語從句與定語從句的區(qū)別:同位語從句定語從句語法角度(that功能)連詞關(guān)系代詞連接作用連接作用不充當(dāng)成分充當(dāng)成分(主賓)語義角度(與前面名詞關(guān)系)同位關(guān)系所屬關(guān)系說明名詞具體內(nèi)容限定名詞范圍邏輯上主表關(guān)系修飾與被修飾關(guān)系That省略角度一般不能省略作賓語時(shí)可以省略不可用which指物時(shí)可用which替比較:15.Weexpressedthehope(that/which)theyhadexpressed.(定語從句)WeexpressedthehopethattheywouldcometovisitChinaagain.(同位語從句)16.Thenews(that/which)hetoldmejustnowistrue.(定語從句)
