MikeandBob_____workers.areBothMikeandBob_______workers.areNeitherMikenorBob_______ateacher.isBillAllofthem______workers.are2.兩個名詞或代詞由and連接作主語時,謂語動詞一般用復(fù)數(shù)。egReadingandRunnig______veryimportant(be)1.謂語的動詞要與主語的人稱和數(shù)一致。3有halfof,partof和mostof等詞引起主語時,動詞通常與of后面的名詞代詞保持一致Mostofhismoney______spentonbooksMostofthestudents________takinganactivepartinsports(be)areisare4.集合名詞group,class,family,army,enemy,government等作主語時,如果強(qiáng)調(diào)整體,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式;如果強(qiáng)調(diào)個體,則用復(fù)數(shù)形式Hisfamily_________verylargeHisfamily__________watchingTV5.表示時間,金錢,距離,重量的復(fù)數(shù)名詞作主語時,通常看作整體,謂語動詞用單數(shù)。Threeweeks_____enoughisareis6.不定代詞anyone,anybody,anything,everyone,everybody,everything,someone,somebody,something,noone,nobody,nothing,each,theother等作主語時,謂語動詞用單數(shù)。There______nothingnewintoday'snewspaper(be)Nobody_______hisname(know)isknows7.就近原則:當(dāng)用作主語的兩個名詞或代詞由or,either…or,neither…nor…或notonly…butalso,not...but連接時.NeitheryounorI_____goingtothetheatreNeitherInoryou______goingtothetheatre(be)8.就前原則:主語后如有下面詞或短語,如with,alongwith,togetherwith,
aswellas,like,ratherthan,but,except,besides,including等。Theboywithhisbrothers_____watchingTV(be)amareis1.Apples____(be)myfavouritefood.歸納:語法形式要一直,單復(fù)數(shù)和謂語一致2.Eachone______(have)theirownnames.歸納:如果由every,each,no等修飾,謂語動詞用單數(shù)3.Nothing____(be)impossible.歸納:nothing,something,somebodu,nobody是第三人稱單數(shù)語法歸納:arehasis4.Myglasses_____(be)lostyesterday.Apairofglasses_____(be)onthedesk.歸納:有兩部分構(gòu)成的物體的名詞,如glasses,shoes,trousers,chopsticks,scissors等作主語時,謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)。注意:如果這類名詞前用了apairof等,則謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)形式往往取決于pair的單復(fù)數(shù)形式。語法歸納:wereis5.People____(grow)vegetableswhilecattle____(eat)grass.
一些只有復(fù)數(shù)的名詞,如people,police,cattle,clothes等作主語時,謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)。6.Tom’sfamily_____(be)watchingTV.Tom’steam_____(have)wonthematchalready.
集體名詞family,class,team,group等看作整體時,謂語動詞用單數(shù),但如果看成個體,就是復(fù)數(shù)。
語法歸納:groweatarehas7.Physics_____(be)diffculttolearn.maths,physics,politics,news雖然是s結(jié)尾,但實際上是單數(shù)。8.Theteacheraswellashisstudents____(sing)asong.Healongwithhisbrothers____(run)fast.Jimlikehisfriends____(do)wellinmaths.主語是單數(shù)時,盡管后面跟有but,except,besides,with,aswellas,togetherwithalongwith,like等引導(dǎo)的介詞短語時,謂語動詞與前面的主語一致。
issingsrunsdoes語法歸納:8.NeitherhersisternorMary_____(be)goingtothepartytomorrow.There____(be)anappleandthreebananasinthekitchen.NotonlyshebutalsoI____(be)here.就近原則:由連詞not……but……,or,either……or,neither……nor,notonly…butalso,therebe等連接的并列主語,如果一個是單數(shù),一個是復(fù)數(shù),則謂語動詞按就近一致原則,與最靠近它的主語一致。
isisam語法歸納:9.Thepoor____(want)tohaveabetterlife.the+形容詞”(如thepoor,therich,theyoung,theold,thedead,thesick,thebrave等)作主語,謂語動詞往往用復(fù)數(shù).
10.Tenyears____(be)alongtime.10USdollars_____(be)lotsofmoney.100,000kilometres____(be)toolong.表時間、距離、價格、度量衡等的名詞作主語時,謂語動詞通常用單數(shù)。
語法歸納:wantisisis11.Manyastudent_____(be)sittingintheclassroom.manya+單數(shù)名詞(許多……)作主語,盡管意思是復(fù)數(shù),但謂語動詞還是用單數(shù)12.Anumberofchildren____(have)agoodtime.
很多孩子過得愉快。Thenumberofchildren____(be)99.孩子的數(shù)目是99.
anumberof后面加復(fù)數(shù)名詞或代詞,其動詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式;但thenumberof后面加復(fù)數(shù)名詞或代詞時,其謂語用單數(shù)。ishaveis語法歸納:13.90percentofthepopulation____(live)bythesea.20percentofthetrees____(have)died.分?jǐn)?shù)(百分?jǐn)?shù))+of+名詞做主語時,謂語動詞的單復(fù)數(shù)取決于of后面的名詞的數(shù)。但要注意population一詞,用作整體時,謂語動詞用單數(shù),用其部分做主語時,謂語動詞形式用復(fù)數(shù)。
14.Tosee____(be)tobelieve.Eatingtoomuchjunkfood____(do)harmtous.動名詞,動詞不定時都是單數(shù)。語法歸納:liveshaveisdoes15.Theteacherandwriter____(work)inamiddleschool.
Thebreadandbutter____(taste)delicious.歸納:
如果用and連接兩個名詞,而且指的是同一個人或者同一個事物,那就是單數(shù)。
比較:Theteacherandwriterishere既是教師也是作家(同一個人)
