TheDigitalEducationCouncilGlobalAIStudentSurveyaimstoprovideinsightsintostudentperceptionsaroundarti?cialintelligence(AI)inhighereducationtoinformdecision-makingforuniversityleadership.ThereportcoversthestatusofAIusageandreadiness,studentperceptionofAIusecases,expectationsandpreferencesonuniversityactionsonAI,satisfactionwithinstitutions’AIadoption,concernsandkeyattributesforAIuse.
Thissurveyhasgathered3839responsesacross16countries,frombachelor,masters,anddoctoratestudentsinmultiple?eldsofstudy,offeringadiverserangeofstudentviewpointsonAIineducation.WithuniversitiesbothkeentointegrateAIintotheirinstitutionsandwaryofpossibleliabilitiesandconcernsthatthisintegrationmaybring,thissurveyaimstobeaguidetotakeaction.
Datafromthissurveyprovidesvaluableguidingpointsforuniversitiesongeneralstudentsentiment,bringsupnotableusefulAIusecasesthatuniversities
canimplementandhighlightsthelargestareasofconcernamongststudentsthatuniversitiesshouldconsider.Thevariedandglobalperspectives
