摘要:
隨著醫(yī)療科技的進(jìn)步和人們生活水平的提高,人類(lèi)對(duì)高品質(zhì)牙齒修復(fù)材料的需求也越來(lái)越大。然而,缺陷材料可能會(huì)導(dǎo)致口腔疾病的發(fā)生和發(fā)展。白色念珠菌是一種常見(jiàn)的口腔真菌病原,對(duì)PMMA修復(fù)材料具有可怕的生物附著性和異味生成能力。因此,開(kāi)發(fā)一種安全高效的AgBr納米顆粒@CTMAB修復(fù)材料已成為目前研究的熱點(diǎn)。本文利用溶液法制備了不同質(zhì)量比AgBr-NP@CTMAB納米顆粒,并研究了它們對(duì)不同白色念珠菌菌株生長(zhǎng)的抑制作用。結(jié)果表明,AgBr-NP@CTMAB抗白色念珠菌活性與CTMAB濃度密切相關(guān),并與AgBr納米顆粒的質(zhì)量比有關(guān)。此外,在搭配使用AgBr-NP@CTMAB與PMMA修復(fù)材料后,材料的生物附著性和異味生成能力均不斷降低,其力學(xué)性能略有下降,但仍能夠滿(mǎn)足需要。因此,AgBr-NP@CTMAB修復(fù)材料具有很好的應(yīng)用前景。

Abstract:
Withtheprogressofmedicaltechnologyandtheimprovementofpeople'slivingstandards,thedemandforhigh-qualitydentalrestorativematerialsisincreasing.However,defectivematerialsmayleadtotheoccurrenceanddevelopmentoforaldiseases.Candidaalbicansisacommonoralfungalpathogenthathasterriblebio-adhesiveandodor-generatingcapabilitiesonPMMArestorativematerials.Therefore,developingasafeandefficientAgBrnanocrystals@CTMABrestorativematerialhasbecomethecurrentresearchhotspot.Inthispaper,AgBr-NP@CTMABnanocrystalswithdifferentmassratioswerepreparedbysolutionmethod,andtheirinhibitoryeffectsonthegrowthofdifferentCandidaalbicansstrainswerestudied.TheresultsshowedthattheantifungalactivityofAgBr-NP@CTMABwascloselyrelatedtotheconcentrationofCTMABandthemassratioofAgBrnanocrystals.Inaddition,afterusingAgBr-NP@CTMABincombinationwithPMMArestorativematerials,thebio-adhesiveandodor-generatingcapabilitiesofthematerialscontinuedtodecrease,andtheirmechanicalpropertiesslightlydecreasedbutstillmettherequirements.Therefore,AgBr-NP@CTMABrestorativematerialhasagoodapplicationprospect.

TheadditionofAgBr-NP@CTMABtoPMMArestorativematerialssignificantlyreducedthebio-adhesivepropertiesofthematerials.ThemechanismbehindthisphenomenonisthatthepositivelychargedCTMABmoleculesonthesurfaceofAgBr-NP@CTMABcaninteractwiththenegativelychargedcellwallsofmicroorganisms,includingCandidaalbicans,topreventtheiradhesiontothematerialsurface.TheAgBrnanocrystalsinAgBr-NP@CTMABalsohaveantimicrobialpropertiesthatcaninhibitthegrowthofmicroorganisms.
Inadditiontoreducingbio-adhesiveproperties,theuseofAgBr-NP@CTMABalsoreducedtheodorgenerationofPMMArestorativematerials.ThisisbecausetheantimicrobialpropertiesofAgBr-NP@CTMABcaninhibitthegrowthofodor-causingmicroorganisms.Thecombinationofthetwomechanismsleadstoareductionintheformationandaccumulationofbiofilmsonthesurfaceofthematerial,whichcanimproveoralhealth.
AlthoughtheadditionofAgBr-NP@CTMABslightlydecreasedthemechanicalpropertiesofPMMArestorativematerials,thematerialsstillmettherequirementsfordentalapplications.Therefore,AgBr-NP@CTMABrestorativematerialhasagoodapplicationprospectindentalpractice.Futureresearchcanfurtherexplorethelong-termantimicrobialefficacyandbiocompatibilityofAgBr-NP@CTMABrestorativematerialsInadditiontothepotentialbenefitsoutlinedabove,therearesomepotentialdrawbacksandlimitationsassociatedwiththeuseofAgBr-NP@CTMABrestorativematerialsindentalpractice.Oneimportantconsiderationisthepossibilityoftoxicityorotheradverseeffectsassociatedwiththeuseofsilvernanoparticles.Whilesilverhaswell-knownantimicrobialproperties,thereareconcernsaboutthepotentialforsilvertoaccumulateinthebodyovertimeandcauseharm.Somestudieshavesuggestedthatnanoparticlesmaybemoretoxicthanlargerparticlesofthesamematerial,duetotheirsmallsizeandincreasedsurfacearea.Therefore,itwillbeimportanttocarefullyevaluatethesafetyandtoxicityofAgBr-NP@CTMABrestorativematerialsbeforewidespreaduseindentalpractice.
AnotherpotentiallimitationofAgBr-NP@CTMABrestorativematerialsisthattheirantimicrobialpropertiesmaynotbeeffectiveagainstalltypesofbacteria.Whilesilverhasbeenshowntobeeffectiveagainstabroadrangeofmicroorganisms,somespeciesmaybemoreresistanttoitseffects.Inaddition,thereisthepossibilityofdevelopingbacterialresistancetosilverovertime,whichwouldlimititslong-termefficacy.
Finally,itisworthnotingthatAgBr-NP@CTMABrestorativematerialsarenotastandalonesolutionforimprovingoralhealth.Whiletheymayhelptopreventtheformationofbiofilmsondentalrestorations,theydonotaddressotherimportantfactorsthatcontributetooraldisease,suchaspoororalhygieneoradiethighinsugarandothercarbohydrates.Therefore,itwillbeimportanttocontinuetopromotegoodoralhealthpracticesalongsidetheuseofthesematerials.
Overall,thedevelopmentofAgBr-NP@CTMABrestorativematerialsrepresentsapromisingadvanceinthefieldofdentalmaterialsscience.ByincorporatingsilvernanoparticlesintoPMMArestorativematerials,itmaybepossibletoimprovetheirantimicrobialpropertiesandreducetheriskofinfectionandothercomplications.However,furtherresearchisneededtofullyevaluatethesafetyandefficacyofthesematerials,andtorefinetheirformulationandapplicationforoptimalclinicaluseInadditiontothepotentialbenefitsofAgBr-NP@CTMABrestorativematerials,therearealsosomechallengesandlimitationsthatneedtobeaddressed.Oneissueisthepossiblecytotoxicityandgenotoxicityofsilvernanoparticles,whichcanhavenegativeeffectsonhumancellsandtissues.AlthoughthereisevidencethattheAgBr-NP@CTMABmaterialshavelowtoxicityandbiocompatibility,morestudiesareneededtoconfirmtheirsafetyandlong-termeffectsonoralhealthandoverallhealth.
Anotherchallengeisthecomplexityandvariabilityofdentalrestorativeprocedures,whichcanaffectthepropertiesandperformanceofthematerialsused.Factorssuchasmoisture,temperature,pH,andmechanicalstresscaninfluencethebonding,durability,andaestheticsofdentalrestorations,andmayalsointeractwiththesilvernanoparticlesintheAgBr-NP@CTMABmaterials.Therefore,itisimportanttooptimizetheprocessingandhandlingofthesematerialstoensureconsistentandreliableoutcomes.
Furthermore,theclinicalapplicationsandindicationsofAgBr-NP@CTMABmaterialsmaydependonthespecificneedsandconditionsofdifferentpatientsanddentalcases.Whiletheantimicrobialpropertiesofsilvernanoparticlesaregenerallybeneficialforpreventingandtreatingdentalcariesandotherinfections,theymaynotbenecessaryorappropriateforalltypesofrestorationsorpatients.Insomecases,alternativematerialssuchascompositeresinsorceramicrestorationsmaybemoresuitableoraesthetic.
Overall,thedevelopmentandevaluationofAgBr-NP@CTMABrestorativematerialsisapromisingareaofresearchforimprovingtheperformanceandsafetyofdentalrestorations.Withfu
