4.ShouldSchoolsOfferHandwritingLessons?Nowadayssomeprimaryschoolsandmiddleschoolshaveofferedhandwritinglessonstotheirstudentswhichhasleadtoaheateddebateamongpeoplefromallworksoflife.Somepeoplebelievethatitistheschools'obligationtocultivateall-roundedindividuals.Thereforehandwritinglessonsshouldbemadeacompulsorycourse.Howevertherearestillsomepeoplewhoholdthebeliefthatitisuselessforthestudentstolearnhandwritingatall.Withthedevelopmentofthecomputeragethechancesthatweusepensarebecomingslimmer.Sincealmostalldocumentsaretypedweonlyneedtolearntyping.AsfarasI'mconcernedlearninghandwritingisofessentialimportancetoyoungstersinthreeaspects.TobeginwithbeingabletowriteChinesecharactersisabasicabilityasaChinesesincethelanguageisanindispensableelementoftheChineseculture.Moreoverthepracticeofhandwritingcanhelpdevelopmanycapabilitiessuchasthecapabilityofconcentratingandlearning.LastbutnotleastastheChinesecharactershaveanaestheticfunctionhandwritingcanbeacrucialwaytoshowthedifferencesofindividuals.ShouldSchoolsOfferHandwritingLessons?Nowadays,someprimaryschoolsandmiddleschoolshaveofferedhandwritinglessonstotheirstudents,whichhasleadtoaheateddebateamongpeoplefromallworksoflife.Somepeoplebelievethatitistheschools'obligationtocultivateall-roundedindividuals.Therefore,handwritinglessonsshouldbemadeacompulsorycourse.However,therearestillsomepeoplewhoholdthebeliefthatitisuselessforthestudentstolearnhandwritingatall.Withthedevelopmentofthecomputerage,thechancesthatweusepensarebecomingslimmer.Sincealmostalldocumentsaretyped,weonlyneedtolearntyping.AsfarasI'mconcerned,learninghandwritingisofessentialimportancetoyoungstersinthreeaspects.Tobeginwith,beingabletowriteChinesecharactersisabasicabilityasaChinese,sincethelanguageisanindispensableelementoftheChineseculture.Moreover,thepracticeofhandwritingcanhelpdevelopmanycapabilities,suchasthecapabilityofconcentratingandlearning.Lastbutnotleast,astheChinesecharactershaveanaestheticfunction,handwritingcanbeacrucialwaytoshowthedifferencesofindividuals.
