EmberEM260ZigBee網(wǎng)絡處理方案Ember公司的EM260是ZigBee/802.15.4網(wǎng)絡處理器,它集成了2.4GHz,IEEE802.15.4兼容的收發(fā)器和16位網(wǎng)絡處理器(XAP2b內(nèi)核),用以運行ZigBee兼容的網(wǎng)絡堆棧EmberZNet.收發(fā)器的RX靈敏度為-99dBm,正常輸出功率為+2.5dBm.EM260目標應用為建筑物自動化和控制,家庭自動化和控制,家庭娛樂控制以及資產(chǎn)跟蹤.本文介紹了EM260的主要特性,方框圖,典型應用電路和所用的材料清單.此外還介紹了EmberEM260SPI/UART128kB開發(fā)板的主要特性和詳細電路圖,包括電源分布和各種電路,主微控制器,信號流程圖,SPI/UART和USB/DEI邏輯以及USB,DEI,和TTL外接口電路圖.
EM260:ZigBee/802.15.4NetworkProcessor
TheEM260integratesa2.4GHz,IEEE802.15.4-complianttransceiverwitha16-bitnetworkprocessor(XAP2bcore)torunEmberZNet,theEmberZigBee-compliantnetworkstack.TheEM260exposesaccesstotheEmberZNetAPIacrossastandardSPImoduleoraUARTmodule,allowingapplicationdevelopmentonaHostplatform.ThismeansthattheEM260canbeviewedasaZigBeeperipheralconnectedoveraserialinterface.TheXAP2bmicroprocessorisapower-optimizedcoreintegratedintheEM260.ItcontainsintegratedFlashandRAMmemoryalongwithanoptimizedperipheralsettoenhancetheoperationofthenetworkstack.
ThetransceiverutilizesanefficientarchitecturethatexceedsthedynamicrangerequirementsimposedbytheIEEE802.15.4-2003standardbyover15dB.Theintegratedreceivechannelfilteringallowsforco-existencewithothercommunicationstandardsinthe2.4GHzspectrumsuchasIEEE802.11gandBluetooth.Theintegratedregulator,VCO,loopfilter,andpoweramplifierkeeptheexternalcomponentcountlow.Anoptionalhigh-performanceradiomode(boostmode)issoftwareselectabletoboostdynamicrangebyafurther3dB.
TheEM260containsembeddedFlashandintegratedRAMforprogramanddatastorage.Byemployinganeffectivewear-levelingalgorithm,thestackoptimizesthelifetimeoftheembeddedFlash,andaffordstheapplicationtheabilitytoconfigurestackandapplicationtokenswithintheEM260.
TomaintainthestricttimingrequirementsimposedbyZigBeeandtheIEEE802.15.4-2003standard,theEM260integratesanumberofMACfunctionsintothehardware.TheMAChardwarehandlesautomaticACKtransmissionandreception,automaticbackoffdelay,andclearchannelassessmentfortransmission,aswellasautomaticfilteringofreceivedpackets.Inaddition,theEM260allowsfortrueMACleveldebuggingbyintegratingthePacketTraceInterface.
Anintegratedvoltageregulator,power-on-resetcircuitry,sleeptimer,andlow-powersleepmodesareavailable.Thedeepsleepandpowerdownmodesdrawlessthan1μA,allowingproductstoachievelongbatterylife.
Finally,theEM260utilizesthenon-intrusiveSIFmoduleforpowerfulsoftwaredebuggingandprogrammingofthenetworkprocessor.
