形容詞基本用法及習(xí)題

形容詞及其使用方法形容詞修飾名詞，闡明事物或人的性質(zhì)或特性。一般，可將形容詞提成性質(zhì)形容詞和論述形容詞兩類，其位置不一定都放在名詞前面。1)直接闡明事物的性質(zhì)或特性的形容詞是性質(zhì)形容詞，它有級的變化，可以用程度副詞修飾，在句中可作定語、表語和補(bǔ)語。例如：hot熱的。2)論述形容詞只能作表語，因此又稱為表語形容詞。此類形容詞沒有級的變化，也不可用程度副詞修飾。大多數(shù)以a開頭的形容詞都屬于這一類。例如：afraid膽怯的。（錯）Heisanillman.（對）Themanisill.（錯）Sheisanafraidgirl.（對）Thegirlisafraid.此類詞尚有：well，unwell，ill，faint，afraid，alike，alive，alone，asleep，awake等。3）形容詞作定語修飾名詞時，要放在名詞的前邊。不過假如形容詞修飾以-thing為字尾的詞語時，要放在這些詞之后，例如：somethingnice形容詞和副詞的比較等級常有某些特殊現(xiàn)象，它們多是?？键c(diǎn)及易錯點(diǎn)，現(xiàn)將其歸納總結(jié)如下：一、同級比較的特殊點(diǎn)在as...as構(gòu)造中，若形容詞作定語修飾單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞，不定冠詞a(an)應(yīng)置于形容詞和名詞之間，不可放在形容詞之前。例如：她和你的父親同樣是個好老師。[誤]Sheisasagoodteacherasyourfather.[正]Sheisasgoodateacherasyourfather.二、比較級的特殊句型1.“the+比較級+ofthetwo”表達(dá)“兩者中較……的一種”。例如：WangGangisthetallerofthetwoboys.2.“比較級+and+比較級”表達(dá)“越來越……”，注意多音節(jié)形容詞或副詞用“moreandmore+多音節(jié)形容詞或副詞原級”。例如：Thedaysaregettinglongerandlonger.Englishisbecomingmoreandmoreimportant.3.“The+比較級……，the+比較級……”表達(dá)“越……越……”。例如：Thebusierheis,thehappierhefeels.三、最高級的特殊句型1.“oneofthe+最高級+復(fù)數(shù)名詞”表達(dá)“最……之一”。例如：Chinaisoneofthelargestcountriesintheworld.2.“the+序數(shù)詞+最高級+單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞”表達(dá)“第幾……”。例如：TheYellowRiveristhesecondlongestriverofChina.3.當(dāng)最高級前有物主代詞、指示代詞、名詞所有格修飾時，其前不加the；若兩個最高級并列使用，后一種最高級前也可以不加the。例如：Heisourbestfriend.

→TomisshorterthanJohn.②notso(as)+多音節(jié)形容詞或副詞+as→less+多音節(jié)形容詞或副詞原級+than。例如：Tomisnotso(as)carefulasMary.

→TomislesscarefulthanMary.2.比較級間的轉(zhuǎn)換：常變化比較對象的位置并使用形容詞或副詞的反義詞。例如：JohnisyoungerthanBill.
