EPC項(xiàng)目中BIM技術(shù)應(yīng)用管理
Abstract
Theconstructionindustryisrapidlytransformingwiththeuseoftechnology.BuildingInformationModelling(BIM)isonesuchtechnologywhichhasprovedtobeverybeneficialintheconstructionindustry.BIMisaprocedurewhichinvolvesthecreationofa3Ddigitalmodelofabuildingorinfrastructure.TheuseofBIMinEPCprojectscansignificantlyimprovetheprocessofprojectmanagement,coordination,andcollaborationbetweendifferentstakeholdersinvolvedinaproject.ThispaperaimstodiscusstheapplicationofBIMtechnologyinEPCprojectsalongwithitsbenefitsandchallenges.
Introduction
Engineering,Procurement,andConstruction(EPC)projectsinvolvedesigning,constructing,andcommissioningofvariousinfrastructuressuchaspowerplants,oilrefineries,andpetrochemicalplants,etc.Theseprojectsaretypicallycomplexandrequirecontinuouscoordinationbetweenvariousstakeholderssuchasarchitects,engineers,contractors,andsuppliers.Tomanagesuchcomplexprojectseffectively,thereisaneedfortheuseofinnovativetechnologysuchasBuildingInformationModelling(BIM).
BIMisadigitalrepresentationofabuildingorinfrastructurewhichincludesitsphysicalandfunctionalcharacteristics.BIMuses3Dmodelling,databasetechnology,andcollaborationtoolstofacilitatecommunication,visualization,andanalysisthroughouttheentirelifecycleofaproject.ThescopeofBIMgoesbeyondthedesignphaseandincludesconstructionmanagement,facilitiesmanagementandoperations.
