備考GRE寫作ISSUE的三點(diǎn)建議

自改變以來,很多考生感到茫然,特別是新gre寫作的issue部分,很多issue的原論點(diǎn)都經(jīng)過特殊設(shè)計(jì),由于新GRE寫作是我們的薄弱環(huán)節(jié),面對(duì)新GRE寫作題目我們寫不好的根本原因是審題不對(duì)以及論證素材和論據(jù)素材太少,以至我們向外輸出內(nèi)容過于空洞乏味,下面是我搜集的如何備考新greissue寫作的三點(diǎn)建議介紹:

1.審題上

我們有時(shí)覺得有些題目太抽象,無從下手的感覺,這個(gè)時(shí)候我們千萬不能以抽象對(duì)抽象,而應(yīng)該抓住某個(gè)關(guān)鍵詞展開從而具體化,這樣我們的論證才有力,有說服力。比如有道關(guān)于人們是追求knowledge還是追求certainty這個(gè)問題,我們可以具體化的,分領(lǐng)域分學(xué)科展開,就可以有話可說了,領(lǐng)域?qū)W科不必面面俱到,只需要選幾個(gè)典型的自己認(rèn)為自己能夠說得清的領(lǐng)域就好。

2.在具體論證上

分論點(diǎn)之間最好有邏輯上的連續(xù)性,就是說你是按照什么原則組織你的觀點(diǎn)的,這點(diǎn)很重要,體現(xiàn)了自己對(duì)整個(gè)題目的把握程度吧,讀者讀起來也感覺很嚴(yán)謹(jǐn),無懈可擊。具體的怎么審題論證我在我的《新G復(fù)習(xí)進(jìn)行時(shí)》中有論及,可以參考下。

3.最后一點(diǎn),AW

個(gè)人并不覺得用長(zhǎng)難復(fù)雜句很好,因?yàn)殚L(zhǎng)難復(fù)雜句要寫好是很難的,如果沒有足夠的功底不要輕易為之。如果我們能用一句非常簡(jiǎn)單的話表述一個(gè)相對(duì)復(fù)雜的意思就用簡(jiǎn)單句唄,這樣才更體現(xiàn)出你對(duì)語言的掌控能力。我們經(jīng)常犯的錯(cuò)誤是把狀語從句隨意地并列在一起,然后把賓語從句也并得很長(zhǎng),像GRE閱讀那種,定語從句呢,用的時(shí)候覺得一定要放好位置,恰到好處,讀起來不顯得生硬為好,否則就不要寫。之前高中老師講語法時(shí)提到,寫復(fù)雜句,一定要把握好句子的重心,重心最好出現(xiàn)在前面,而不要太繞,讓讀者讀了幾個(gè)狀語和定語之后才看到你的真正的主謂賓等。

新GRE寫作issue一定要較為詳細(xì)的寫Issue提綱,否則,在考場(chǎng)如果遇到?jīng)]有思考過的題目,很容易亂了陣腳,臨場(chǎng)去想,導(dǎo)致失敗。此外,新GREissue寫作題目必須考前按題材分類去寫提綱,知道對(duì)立面和大致寫作思路,往往論據(jù)在同類的很多題目中通用。希望以上三點(diǎn)建議對(duì)大家備考新GRE考試有所幫助。

題目:

所有的國(guó)家都應(yīng)該支持發(fā)展一所全球性的大學(xué),它的主要目的是要讓學(xué)生們致力于解決世界上最難纏的社會(huì)問題。

正文:

Aglobaluniversity,consideredasabsorbingforeignstudentsandfaculty,cooperatingwithforeignuniversitiesandfacingahighlyglobalizedview,isrecentlybeingacceptedanddesiredbymoreandmorecountries,sinceitcanconcentratetheworldsmosttalentintellectuals,soastogaindifferentperspectivesandsuccessfulexperiences.Ontheotherhand,nowadaysworldisfacingdiversifiedsocialproblems,includingpoverty,economicalreform,terrorism,multi-mediaglobalization,environmentalproblemsandsoforth,manyofwhichareinteractedbetweenelementsseparatedindifferentnations,thereforeaskingforaglobalsighttoanalyzeandsolve.Inthesesenses,Ithinkitwillservemanynationsintereststodevelopaglobaluniversitytoengagestudentsintheprocessofsolvingtheworldsmostpersistentsocialproblems.

Universitiesareborntoprovidenationeliteineveyfieldofit.FromancientGreekforumstonowadaysworld-topuniversities,thesecampuseshaveneverlackedofyoungstudentswhoareeagerforknowledgeandideals,aswellasexperiencedanderuditeteachers.Inbothteachingandresearchingaspects,modernuniversitiesareplayinganimportantrolepropellingtheworldsdevelopment.Considerthesefacts:thefirstcomputerwhichhadthenchangedtheworldwasmadeinUniversityofPennsylvania;amyriadscientistswhowonNobelPrizecamefromPrincetonUniversity;manyofcurrentleadersofChinagraduatedfromthenationsmostfamousuniversity,TsinghuaUniversity;thearchitecturedepartmentofDelftUniversity,whichlocatesinAmsterdam,hasprovidednotonlytheNetherlandsbutalsothewholeworldanumberofvanwardandcreativearchitecturemasters.Itistheseuniversitiesfeatthathassolvedmanysocialproblems,changedtheworlddramaticallyandsupporteditbytheirgraduatesorundergraduates.

Realizingtheimportantfunctionofuniversities,establishingaglobaloneseemsmoreeffectiveinsolvingtheworldsmostdifficultsocialproblems,whichaskforamyriadeffortsandmostintelligenttalent,inthefollowingthreepoints.

Firstly,aglobaluniversitywhichgainsstudentsfromdifferentnations,differentculturalbackgroundsanddifferenteducationsystemscanthereforecontaindiversifiedviews,methodsandperspectiveswhendealingwithasocialproblem.Studentsindifferentcountriesaretaughtintheiruniquebasiceducationsystems,andtheyareinfluencedbythesocietyandtheirtraditionalcultureseparately.Newviewscanbebroughttoaglobaluniversitiybythosewhohaveneverbeentoitsnation,makingitsthoughtsmorecreative.Forinstance,asanAmericanuniversitystudent,IM.Pei,whowasborninChinaandenteredthecountriesfarawayfromhismotherland,wonhisfirstcompetition,theMonumentofVienamWar.ThismonumentwasconsideredasaveryimportantissuetoshowAmericansviewstothatcruelandtragedywar.IM.Peiusedadifferentwaytocreateaknifelikeshapeintothesiteandmadethemonumentfullofsymbols.Afterhisgraduation,IMPeihasthenmanagedmanyglobalprojects.Undoubtedly,amultieducatingbackgroundgavehimtheabilitytofacearchitectureindifferentnations.Asthestudentsreceivesuchdiversifiedcreativemethods,thesocietywillbenefitalotfromaglobaluniversity,whichseemstobebidirectional.

Fromtheabove,wecaneasilyreachtheconclusionthateveryacademicdisciplinehascertainrelationshipswithsomeotherones.Thestructureofhumansknowledgeisjustlikethecomplexityofanet!Andalsoitisanaturaltrendthatacademicdisciplinesbecomemoreandmorespecialized.
