小學英語小組合作學習探討《新課程標準》強調(diào)課程從學生的學習興趣、生活經(jīng)驗和認知水平出發(fā),倡導體驗、實踐、參與、合作與交流的學習方式和任務型的教學途徑,發(fā)展學生的綜合語言運用能力,使語言學習的過程成為學生形成積極的情感態(tài)度、主動思維和大膽實踐、提高跨文化意識和形成自主學習能力的過程。小組合作學習為學生構(gòu)建了開放的學習環(huán)境,提供了多渠道獲取語言知識并綜合運用的機會。促進他們形成積極的學習動機、態(tài)度和良好的語言學習習慣及交際策略,培養(yǎng)了學生的創(chuàng)新精神和實踐能力。因此,小組合作學習成了在小學英語課堂教學中應用廣泛的一種學習方式。然而,我們同時也發(fā)現(xiàn),有些教師為了趕“合作學習”的時髦,認為只有“討論”一下才熱鬧,出現(xiàn)了“只重形式,忽視實質(zhì),缺乏實效”的現(xiàn)象。一、小組合作學習中存在的問題小組合作學習中存在的6個問題:1、Nonegotiationofmeaning.(缺乏真正意義上的交流)2、Moststudentsnotinvolved.(多數(shù)學生沒有參加)3、SpeakingChinese(用漢語交流)4、Nohelpfromteacher(教師沒有提供幫助,僅是一個紀律的維持者)5、Noenoughtime(時間不足)6、Noout

communication(缺少反饋)二、優(yōu)化小學英語小組合作學習,增強小組合作的實效性。1、建立合理的合作學習小組作學習小組的構(gòu)成對合作學習的成敗起到至關(guān)重要的作用,結(jié)構(gòu)合理的分組是合作學習取得成功的前提。因此,教師應重視合作學習小組的分組問題。首先合作小組的人數(shù)要合理,應以4—6人為宜,人數(shù)太多不利于學生間的交流和個人才能的充分展示,人數(shù)太少也不利于學生間的互助和交流。其次,分組一般要遵循以下原則:(1)每班選一位小老師,管四個大組長(2)每班分成四個大組,每大組選一人作為大組長,管每大組的四個小組長。(3)每個大組分成四個小組,每個小組選一個小組長,管小小組長。(4)每小組內(nèi)的同學每倆倆結(jié)對。(5)進行合理有效的分工組內(nèi)合作學習時,每個級別的小組長有不同的分工。在課堂上以小組為單位討論學習,誘發(fā)學生積極主動地學習新知,發(fā)揮每個學生的優(yōu)勢,使組內(nèi)成員取長補短,共同提高2、分組一般要遵循以下原則:1)依學生特質(zhì)分組。學生特質(zhì)大致上可分為學習成績、能力傾向、性格、愛好、年齡、性別等。教師可采用“組內(nèi)異質(zhì),組間同質(zhì)”的原則,使組內(nèi)成員之間存在一定的互補性,使各小組的總體水平基本一致,每個小組成為全班的縮影和截面。這樣,既能增加小組合作成員的多樣性,又能有利于全班各小組間開展公平的小組競賽。2)分組要合理搭配優(yōu)等生和學困生,如果是4人合作小組,一般以一個優(yōu)等生,一個學困生和兩個中等生為主要構(gòu)成原則。這樣,一個小組中學生的語言能力有強弱,學習成績有高低,學習方法有異同,學習交流時可以做到相互影響,取長補短,從而增強學生的合作精神。而且這樣的編排也有利于結(jié)對幫困活動的開展,減輕老師的負擔。3)教師要注意觀察,了解學生。有些學生可能不喜歡與被分的同一組的某個同學合作,這樣的話,教師要及時調(diào)整,否則會影響到整個合作學習小組的良性發(fā)揮。4)教師要動態(tài)化變更小組成員,活潑合作學習的氣氛。一般以5—6周調(diào)換一次或每學期換1—2次為理想。這不僅使學生有新鮮感,提高合作學習的興趣,而且可以改變學生在小組中長期形成的地位。即有的始終處于控制地位,在小組中承擔重要工作,而有的學生始終處于從屬地位。給每位學生提供發(fā)展的機會。三、制定有效的合作學習規(guī)則小組活動應該是各成員共同承擔責任,共同完成任務和分享討論成果。但在實際情況中,語言表達能力強的學生參與的機會明顯較多,而另一些學生則習慣于當聽眾,很少或從不發(fā)表個人意見。漸漸地他們對一切語言活動都表現(xiàn)得漠不關(guān)心,從而出現(xiàn)了Moststudentsnotinvolved——多數(shù)學生沒有參與的情況。因此,建立有效的、科學的合作學習規(guī)則在很大程度上決定著小組合作學習的成效。首先教師要闡明小組的特殊意義,讓學生明晰自己在小組內(nèi)的職責——為整個小組的成功貢獻力量;讓他們明晰如果小組內(nèi)有一人掉隊,將會影響整個小組的成績。第二,教師要給每個小組下達任務,分配工作。小組內(nèi)設(shè)小組長,主要職責是對本組成員進行分工,組織成員有序地開展討論交流。小組長可以輪換制,使每位學生都得到全面發(fā)展。第三,要求使用英語溝通。教師可在教室里張貼常用語匯表幫助學生開口,從而防止用漢語交流的情況。為更好地執(zhí)行以上學習規(guī)則,教師要對學生進行合作技能的教授和訓練?,F(xiàn)在大多數(shù)學生是獨生子女,過慣了“小皇帝”的生活,家庭環(huán)境促成了他們自私,不善于與人合作,不愿與人分享成功的心理,從而在合作學習中以自我為中心,與同伴之間的交流更多的是找茬、挑刺,相互埋怨。教師要不斷教他們學會尊重、接受別人的不同意見,學會在合作中進行關(guān)系的協(xié)調(diào),能取長補短,相互理解,彼此支持。除此之外,教師必須培養(yǎng)學生有良好的合作學習習慣:1)獨立思考的習慣,以避免“人云亦云”,盲目從眾的現(xiàn)象。2)積極參與,踴躍發(fā)言的習慣。3)認真傾聽的習慣。4)遵守課堂紀律和合作學習規(guī)則的習慣。四、設(shè)計科學的合作學習任務教師對合作學習任務設(shè)計的科學性、合理性影響著合作學習的實效性。沒有科學的合作學習任務,就會導致學生的交流缺乏真正的意義,甚至出現(xiàn)用漢語交流的現(xiàn)象。因此,在下達合作學習任務之前,教師應做好以下幾點:1)設(shè)計小組活動時應考慮教學目的,既怎樣把課本中的語言自然滲透到交際活動中,讓學生在活動中學習和運用語言,通過活動內(nèi)化英語知識。如在學習Therebe

句型后,我讓學生合作畫一幅美麗的天堂,你希望那里有什么就用Therebe

表達出來并畫好。如此一來,學生在不知不覺中把所學語言運用到交際中,實現(xiàn)了有意義的語言交流。2)教師要根據(jù)教學內(nèi)容,學生實際和教學環(huán)境條件等,選擇有價值的內(nèi)容,有利的實際和適當?shù)拇螖?shù)讓學生進行合作學習。一節(jié)課中不宜安排過多的小組合作學習次數(shù)和時間,防止隨意性和形式化。3)教師要根據(jù)討論的主題給學生提供一些與任務有關(guān)的背景知識或相關(guān)的資料,使學生的語言輸出有一定的基礎(chǔ)。4)教師設(shè)計合作學習任務的難度要適當。太難時,會出現(xiàn)“冷場”的局面,學生面面相覷,不知如何表達,有的學生會不知不覺地使用漢語交流。太簡單時,學生就會不屑一顧,隨便說幾句,甚至會借此機會閑聊、說笑,形成表面上的“假熱鬧”。5)在設(shè)計任務時,要創(chuàng)設(shè)一個有信息差的語境。語言是交流思想,傳遞信息的工具,只有問答雙方有想獲取某一方面信息的好奇心時,才會發(fā)問。因此只有學生之間有信息差,學生才會產(chǎn)生交際的需要和愿望,才會用英語溝通信息,達到運用英語的目的。如在教學房間擺設(shè)時,讓一個學生描述自己的房間,一個將他的房間畫下來,他們之間就存在了信息差,因此,他們必須通過交流才能完成任務,活動的真實意義就體現(xiàn)出來了。五、教師要正確把握好自己的角色我們經(jīng)??吹剑攲W生進行小組合作學習時,教師就松了一口氣,似乎這是課堂中得以放松、休息的機會,只要給學生做一個紀律維持者就可以了。這就是教師沒有正確把握好自己的角色,沒有做好學生學習的促進者和共同學習的合作者,從而降低了合作學習的效率和質(zhì)量。在合作學習過程中,教師要擔當好以下幾個角色:1)合作學習的調(diào)控者和促進者在合作學習過程中,教師必須要仔細觀察各組成員的合作情況,及時發(fā)現(xiàn)小組合作過程中出現(xiàn)的問題,并采取一定的調(diào)控措施。如學生對小組的任務還不清楚時,教師要及時向?qū)W生說明任務的內(nèi)容及操作程序;及時制止小組合作學習過程中的語言霸權(quán)主義,擴大學習交流的參與面,使每個組員都有均等的表達機會;當小組討論偏離主題或討論一時受阻時,教師要及時發(fā)現(xiàn)問題,及時予以糾正,或為小組討論提供及時的點撥;當學生的語言出現(xiàn)嚴重錯誤時,教師要指出并更正;當學生在用中文交流或討論別的話題時,教師應及時地制止并引導;教師還要特別關(guān)注那些“沉默”的學生和“冷場”的小組,給他們鼓勵和指導使他們?nèi)谌氲叫〗M活動中去。2)合作學習的參與者和合作者教師要深入合作學習小組,把自己當作學生主體中的普通一員,參與其中的學習、合作、交流,做個平等的參與者,從而縮短師生間的距離,建立輕松和諧的課堂教學氛圍,充分地合作與互動,以達到教學的最佳效果,實現(xiàn)有效的合作學習。六、提供充裕的合作學習時間一節(jié)課時間有限,有些教師為了完成本課時的任務,在學生還沒有完全展開合作學習時,就匆匆結(jié)束合作學習,草草收場。這樣的小組合作學習不但達不到學習的目的,而且很容易挫傷學生的合作學習熱情,養(yǎng)成敷衍了事的不良習慣,也容易使學生對合作學習失去興趣。因此,教師要給學生提供充分的思考、交流、操作和總結(jié)的時間。在進行合作學習前,教師要留給學生一定的獨立思考時間;在進行合作學習時,要給學生足夠的交流討論時間,讓每個學生都有發(fā)言的機會和相互補充、更正、辯論的時間,使不同層次學生的智慧都得到發(fā)揮;在結(jié)束合作學習后,要給學生足夠的匯報、反饋的時間,從而完全掌握學生合作學習的準確信息,對合作學習中存在的問題予以及時的指導。七、建立科學的合作學習評價制度恰當?shù)脑u價能讓學生獲得成就感,樹立自信心,有助于實現(xiàn)有效的小組合作學習。科學的評價制度追求多種評價方式相結(jié)合:學生自評、組員互評、教師評分以及形成性評價和終結(jié)性評價。以下是學生自評、組員互評、教師評分的表格:學生自評/組員互評表小組總評
