TheChinesebelievethatapersonborninaparticularyearhassomeofthecharacteristicsofanimal.

Thetopicformyspeechtodayis“Festival.”Iwouldliketotalkaboutmyfavoritefestival,theMid-AutumnFestival.

InChinawehaveseveralimportantfestivals,suchastheSpringFestival,theLanternFestival,theDragon-boatFestivalandtheMid-AutumnFestival.Amongthem,IlikeMid-Autumnfestivalbest,especiallybecauseIlivein*iamen.

In*iamen,whenwecelebratetheMid-Autumnfestival,wedonotonlyfollowthecommonpracticessuchashavingabigdinnerpartywithourfamily,eatingmooncakes,andappreciatingthefullmoonatnight,wealsohaveoneuniquecustomwhichisonlypracticedin*iamen,thatis“BoBing”.

“BoBing”isaveryinterestinggamethatalmostall*iamenpeopleplayduringthisfestival.Usuallyfamilymembersorclosefriendsgettogetheraroundatablewithabigroundbowlinthemiddleandsi*dicesinthebowl.Wetaketurnstothrowthedicesintothebowl.Wewillgetdifferentprizesaccrodingtothedifferentwaysthedicesshowtheiruppersides.Everyoneislikelytobecomethechampionor“Zhuangyuan”fortheyear.Thereisanelementofluckandequalopportunityinthisgame.Sopeopleusuallygete*citedwhileplaying.Also,thegamegivesverypleasantsounds.Thetinklingmadebythedicesfallingintothebowlispleasant,people’slaughing,cheeringandapplaudingforthebigprizesthey’vewonispleasant.Allthisaddsgreatlytothejoyfulatmosphereofthisfestival.Asakid,ofcourseIalsolikethematerialprizesIgetfromthegame,suchasacandyoracake.
