habitatforgiantpandashasgrown
byabout2,720km2,(almosttheareaofYosemiteNationalPark),comparedtoin2003.At25,770km2,pandahabitatisnowalmosttwicethesizeofSerengetiNationalPark.Inthereserveareas,
conservationstaff
liveandworktorescuesickorstarvingpandas,andtostopsmugglers(走私者)fromhuntinggiantpandas.2.CaptiveBreeding-Research,Education,andReturningtoWildIn1980s,muchofthebambooontheQionglaiMountains(thegiantpanda'smainhabitatarea)died.Thusmany
